This is presented as found with the polish provided by nature. It has the appearance of a piece of drift wood, and may find its way into a bola tie without further enhancement.

Below is the slab I cut off of the back of it. The pattern is so diffuse that my camera refused to focus on the details of the color.

And a beautiful Eden Valley piece that Snowdog won in the RTH raffle last year. He passed before he was able to receive it. Tommy had a second raffle for the piece, the winning bid to go to Dave's cause of choice. I won but was pretty choked up at the time and never publically acknowledged it. Thanks Tommy! It's been on my shelf since December.

I think your first picture might be Saddle Mountain picture wood but I could be mistaken.
