Should probably get here today. So... What am I supposed to do with these jars of clay and rock? Will it be self evident? Is it a puzzle, a conundrum? A test? Is my task to get all the rocks out of the jars, away from the clutches of the wet red clay? Is this like one of those dog toys that hold treats, and it will take me hours to get them all loose? One at a time, so I can oooh and ahhh over each and everyone? The suspense is killing me! To protect the rocks of course. betcha they won't be damaged. Added weight to box though. Got several grades from several locations. it was the reddest and most sand free. It gets a lot redder than that though. If it creates suspense it did it's job.

Uh oh... But James, I already have a yard full of red clay. So that's what you use for packing material? captbob, Jean is paying outrageous electric bills for running old, inefficient, energy sucking A/C unit for the last month or two. I have a Scott-Murray tumbler, a gift from from mohs Lortone based the Model B on this. Ordered a new rubber liner from the Rock Shed. Hope to run it when it cools down a tad and the electric bill goes down. Had to do some refurbing: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/post/647401/threadI see a few Richardson Ranch eggs in the background too.....

Jean, I do hope you realize that we are going to need pictures of your jars of mud, including pics as you dig for the rock treasures buried within.
ETA: wow, I type slow. Diane's post wasn't there when I started the above.

West Georgia Mud Park. Yes, mostly an adult mud playground and it is huge. 35 miles from the house.

The blinding white kaolin clay is perfect for that stuff captbob. Large deposits with no abrasive sand in it. It is east of Macon.

You are starting to sound like him, please and thank you!) captbob, ya need to type faster. You missed the boat on that one, lol.
