Got X and Y, missed Z. Two dimensional thinking. You'll never make it in space travel. Probably pretty far down your "I need to worry about that" list. Good to go! Bonus: I learned the plural for axis today. Interestingly, axes is the only word in English that can be the plural of three different singular noun forms--ax, axe, and axis. yea me!

Is it redder than your clay Jean ? greasier ? A thimble full can stain an acre. Gotta love the texture. Some very nice clay. Stays wet for 6 years. Don't worry, I paid my dues too Jean. Hosed off outside.(rules). Did double bag everything. Used a ton of tape and they still busted the box, dang. Probably plenty of tape, IF the carbord hadn't got sogged out. The box didn't break all the way through, nothing fell out. Yes, redder than my clay, James, and stickier. I think my clay must have a little more sand in it. Jean cleaning up house/patio/clothes, more. lol Cleanup not so bad, just had other business to take care of! Once pics were posted, I went back out and it only took me another hour or so to finish with the treasure hunt (boy, and did I find treasure!), snap more pics and clean up. Opening the jars on the table much easier than on the ground (I'm no dummy!) Pics out of the camera, still need to upload. Will get those posted a little later this morning, oh, maybe in another six or seven hours, lol.

Ready to post pics, but Photobucket is down for maintenance
I could upload them to my Flickr account, but the amount of extra time it takes to post them on the forum, I'd prolly be better off just waiting for the bucket to get their sh!t together.
Be with ya in a moment...

Conrad Dobbler used to start a massive fight and sneak out the back door. Starting to wonder if that is not a bad idea(sneaking out the back door). Stoking fire....

50 gallon per minute wash station for cleaning a little red mud off(a minimum). Even Pinewood Studios was in awe of the industrial cleaning station.

I love flickr Nooooo! If I had used Flickr, I wouldn't get these up until tomorrow. Don't want to keep captbob waiting any longer. I'm just joshing with ya Jean. wandering off to strike something off my Honey Do list today... I know you are (joshing with me, that is). Let us know what you got done. Definitely the redder stuff, James! Great for dying T-shirts.
Photobucket back up, here's some pics. Thanks for being so patient!
Clean up not bad. Dried mud brushed right up, wet paper towel took stains off.
This is the everlasting red mud...
This is all just mud, the treasure has already been plucked from it.
This is all the rough pried loose from the mud in the jars.
These are the tumbled pet wood / coral from the last jar.
Sprayed off.
Beautiful bots!! I love them, James!
Will be getting one of these wrapped for Tela's non-competition! Fall colors.
Maybe this one?
The well traveled pet wood - from Cali to GA, back to Cali. You did a great job on these, James (but you didn't have to send them back to me?).
Some of the rough coral
Reverse side. I should be able to get a couple slabs off this.
More rough coral, gorgeous colors and patterns. Small pieces, either tumbles (when I get to it), or may cab a few on the flat lap.
The biggest piece.
Nice polyps corallites. Great pattern and color.
GA peach?
Okay, let me get these posted.
Hope it was worth waiting for. Thanks or looking!
ETA - Was hurrying and forgot to add - Thank you, James!

Christened to the red clay community Jean. Welcome on. All you needed was character, no shortage there ! They look better in California light. Prepare for captbob's return from the honey do projects. He may be plum tuckered out. Five fire pits built and shipped in three days, James worn out. And did honey do's.

Nice looking batch of treasures there Jean. Thanks for the pictures. I like the bot you picked to wrap. Fun thread. Just a little off topic, but I am truly surprised that there is no velcro on these shoes just sayin'
