Hey Rob I hope we can take a pic of the rough b4 it goes in the Loto. That's the only way I could qualify cause mine are months in the rotary!

I didn't mean to come off sounding snarky (but I guess I did sound snarky, my bad). My apologies. Please feel free to ask any questions, and offer any ideas or suggestions. We are all here to learn!! A lot of knowledge and fun people here!

J/k Jean, you'll never guess what Eva and I bought. I'll PM you after this long weekend. Just for a hint, tent camping is a thing of the past...

I just now started looking at some pics and jugglerguy that is a beautiful tumble because that rock started out as a landfill rock. You turn it into a princess. Kind of like Cinderella.

Maybe this contest should be sub-divided between rotary and vibe tumblers? For instance, I have a 3lb lortone and a month really is a short time from start to finish. The rock I entered tumbled for several months. I think what's important is the month it gets done. I was lucky to have taken a before picture. I don't think I'll have a rock ready to post in June because I don't have before pictures for most rocks that are tumbling now. By the way, welcome to the forum! Rob, we will waive the before pic until everyone gets caught up. How long do you think is good? Its not important, really.

Once I have done a few months worth, I have ideas for growing the prize structure. Maybe your rotary will win you a vibe! Please stick with it. And enter when you can. Your entries will be broadly accepted. Lastly, I would like to offer you a box of mojave desert rocks as a welcome gift. If you accept, please PM me a mailing address to send it to. These are stones I collected in the desert near my home. There are many parent/grandparent types here. Continue being respectful, and you will see great respect in return.

Here is my entry for this month's Tumble Off. I don't have a 'before' photo but I just pulled these out of the Lot-O today. These carnelians have been rolling constantly for months. Photos taken with an iPhone. [/a] [/a] [/a] [/a]

Vera nice!!! Mine was supposed to be out of the Loto 2day but the buff top tumble cabs aren't quite polished on the fat so hopefully 2moro they can come out. My other Loto batch was rotary tumble trash or rotary fodder to get some shiny things for kids and to get my tumble cabs done. This batch should have a few interesting tumbles...I hope!

Tommy u r great!!!!
The one pic is the entire batch with them outside on a semi cloudy day. The other two are of the tumble I picked as my entry.
It is self hounded in Quartzsite Az. I found it in the walkway between Tony/Catmandew vendetta booth area and the Diamond Pacific Building. Tony throws broken pieces over there when he is slabbing!!! LOL. I am calling it Crazy Lace!
Thanks again Tommy!!
