Rats! Meviva enters at the last minute. That second to last picture's no good. Too much glare. Can't see the rock. I think you should remove it.

Thank you Jugglerguy and @shotgunner ... Being a newbie here, I thought that entering would be a formality with NO chance of winning. I expected a huge amount of entries from the best on this forum but I wanted to show my support by submitting something. I am looking forward to this every month (more pictures required!) and I hope you do too.. Come on guys, get those submissions in! OK to be fair on future contests we need picture rules...
1. All pics on a Bounty paper towel.
2. Must be taken outside with no flash.
3. Must be a semi cloudy day.
4. No light boxes.
5. Only cell phone cameras allowed.
6. Tommy Lay must use a flip phone!
7. Must submit a dry pic and a wet pic.
Next Subject....
1. Winner of contest exempt from competing for following month.
Final rule!!!!
1. If by chance a one legged cowboy were to crop up with a entry, do we know one, he gets a 25 vote handicap!!! LOL

Ok, first competition jitters, here goes. Lot's of material pulled out of the Lot O this month and the decision was hard, especially when you don't know what makes a great tumble, competition wise. This laker passed the eye test though.

Whew, now I can relax and look at all the nice pics. orrum , I had some crazy lace in consideration. I like that stuff. meviva , that's quite a brilliant shine you got going there. A lot of quality entries. The carnelian was nice too. Congrats to everyone who entered. Jugglerguy , that lowly chert is still holding strong in my book. |
