Guess the miles - McDermitt trip box giveaway

I have been out and about since the McDermitt trip so this is a little late but better late than never right?
This contest is for anyone on the board who didn't get to go to McDermitt, NV this year. I have a MFRB of various types of rocks collected in McDermitt, including Larsonite (Gary green), Purple Cow, petrified wood, agate, and a thunderegg among other assorted rocks. I asked other RTH members who were there to contribute so we could have a contest box. Thank you to catmandewe nowyo Tommy roy free2rockhound for contributing to the box.
We figured that Russ (nowyo) drove the farthest to get to McDermitt so the contest is to guess how many miles he estimates that he drove to get there. This isn't an exact science since he tends to wander but we have a number that sounds about right.
One guess per forum member, contest ends Friday (June 17. 2016) 8pm Arizona time, winner is the person who guesses the closest to the actual number or the exact number. Good luck!
