Hello
I found this forum on a thread from a rock hounding group I belong to on Facebook. Someone asked a question regarding a site or an App. (💡any developers), where you could take a photo or add features so it could automatically identify a rock found. Instead, this forum was suggested in one of the comments. So Cool Beans here I am.

We often have people call from all over the country
or come by and if the lapidary staff is not available our
office staff try to answer their lapidary questions.
I have learned that they often refer people
to this forum and the feedback is that the caller/customer got the help and or information they needed!

Cigar Box Lapidary is also considered a trusted resource here on the forum, and when mechanical type questions come up I see recommendations headed your way quite often. |

I had spent countless hours digging through purchase reviews of random saws and other awesome lap equipment. As my needs got more specific and google searches more narrow, I stumbled upon this forum. This wealth of helpful and creative information has really helped me get the gears turning.
