I'm looking to learn how to use a vibratory tumbler at the moment. But I'd like to get better at tumbling in general.

I was watching some Michigan Rocks videos and heard him mention this forum a couple of times. I had to look it up after that.

What brought me to this forum; Rob from Michigan rocks referred me to this sight. I had many questions about the rocks I have been tumbling and he suggested this sight to me. I just started tumbling on my birthday this Jan. 5th. so I am really new to all this but I'm having lots of fun so far. Thanks for having me and the welcome message.

Have been involved with rock hounding, collecting, lapidary, smithing, jewelry making and repairs for many years….on and off. Developed an interested in Inlay and Intarsia and started searching for information and techniques. I came across a link to this RTH site and started reading some posts including the various forums. I soon discovered its a very informative, friendly and helpful site. Many welcoming and helpful members. Needless to say i joined up and its reignited some of my long lost interests. Its like a family.

Добрий день, хотілося освіжити в пам'яті процес опускання самоцвітів у віброгалтанні. І я знайшов ваш форум у Google.

I would suggest that you use a translator such as Google Translate prior to posting because most of the members here do not know the Ukrainian language. Roughly translated by Google Translate: Good afternoon, I wanted to refresh my memory on the process of lowering the gems in vibrogaltan.

Watching a video by Michigan Rocks and he recommended it. Also, 30 plus years ago I bought our kids a Lortone tumbler……they had zero interest so it sat in a box for the past 30 years. Our oldest grandson is almost 6 and is absolutely crazy about anything rocks. I ordered a new 33B and the Lot-O is ready to go.

Welcome to RTH DiabeticDarrell. There’s a lot of good tumbling info here plus just about anything rock related. We’re pretty family friendly too so you can share stuff found here with your grandson.

I was searching on google for the definition of dop. I came access your forum. Welcome to the forum from South Dakota! You'll definitely see the definition of "dop" on here...but if you hang out long enough, and you read enough of my posts, you'll see the definition of "dip" as well! LOL

I stumbled across Michigan Rocks on Youtube and that brought me here. I've been lurking for a while now and just completed my first round with a Harbor Freight tumbler. It didn't turn out too bad.

A search engine brought me here in 2009 but what keeps me here is the quality of people and also the forum provides a medium to house an impressive body of knowledge about coprolites where many people have contributed great insights.
