I've been busting my tail to get my new shop ready. I think it is time to share. It isn't officially open, but you can visit. You can't buy, the cart isn't set up, yet. I am open to all opinions. I actually like it a lot, especially the "sold page". That one page took a day to make. The site is supposed to be well optimized for mobile. I'm still working on the testimonial page. I need to put them in a grid, but that won't be too hard. www.telaformosa.com password cat123 You may get a security notice because that page isn't encrypted, just ignore it. I hope to be open in a few days or so. Thanks for your help.

I like it a lot. Your descriptions must have taken forever, at least if I had done it. They're great. Seems easy to get around on and when reading the descriptions the pics which are awesome roll on by. Your work is stunning also.

I did have to do a lot of tweaking to do, though. It was a lot work!

I have forgotten so much html and I don't know any css, so I used a template and tweaked it and added to it. Still a butt ton of work, though!

I remember thinking I died and went to heaven when I found a WYSIWYG editor. It still got to a point where I had to hire a page designer - the plus was he was a student in the Phillipines and was dirt cheap - though I still had to manually update. Amazing how far things have come in 20 years. Dave

Tela: Your skill is not limited to your jewelry and wrapping, that is for sure. What a user friendly site and the descriptions are well done. You've got this handled...go for it.

I wanted to put a link in an item description, I actually had to look up some old html to do it. I forgot and my editor is not real user friendly. But, hey, I got it done. LOL!

I love the minimalist look Tela. well done. I too like the lack of extraneous stuff in the pictures. You got the stone and one set piece propping up the stone, no distractions. You also do very beautiful work! BTW I gave my Mother the chrysocolla pendant you wrapped for me about 6 months ago. She was blown away!

I like the rocks too much to cover them up. LOL! I'm glad your mom liked the pendant!

Very elegant. One suggestion for a future menu enhancement: As a shopper, I sometimes look for an item with either 1) a particular main color; or 2) a particular gemstone. I do like that your Pendant menu allows selecting by metal, but the thought occurs that some folks want to shop by color (wanting something to match a particular outfit or favorite color for a gift), or by stone (again a favorite gem, birthstone, etc.). Count me as remembering the days of hand html coding - just last week, in fact

I didn't want the menu to be too long. With stone choices alone, the menu would reach down the page.

Count me as remembering the days of hand html coding - just last week, in fact LOL yes, last week. Not that much HTML anymore though... mostly CSS and JS. When I first got the keys to the board three weeks ago I looked into the header files and there were these things ... I didn't recognize them at first... <table> <tr> <td></td> </tr> </table>
My first thought was WTF is that!? followed by - Gawd how much I DO NOT miss tables
