What won't a Jack Russel eat ? Y'all are real good shots. Yeah, he would eat a bunch but always puked em back up. Toughest part was locating them in the maple trees to get a shot. Not going to mention lightning bugs & badminton rackets.... Well if hes got the courtesy to eat lighting bugs at least you wont step in the poop at night. Good boy !!

I'm used to the black rifle platform so it work well and is pretty quiet. What kind of range that sweet little piece have?... and whack a beaver?

No. They are precharged pneumatics. Charged from a high pressure compressor or a scuba tank. I have an air spring Walther break action in 22 cal that is also dead eye accurate and precise. The Talon 25 cal is so quiet. All you hear is the click of the hammer on the air bottle

Wonder if its legal to have without registering it in Canada? have to check up on that, wouldn't mind one. Have the .22 cal break action also mounted scope for nuisance birds in the yard. Can shoot it in town. Equipped with the new Sound-Loc suppressor. My guess so it doesnt sound like a nail gun? Accuracy 1″ at 50 yards. NO recoil! The removable 490cc air tank (DOT-certified) can be filled with a hand pump, scuba tank or electric compressor to 3000 psi (206 bar) for lots of shots without a refill. The tank does double-duty as the butt of the gun, contributing to its light weight and convenience

I guess it's considered as a high powered firearm. Would of made a nice backpack necessity if all the restrictions to carry it wasn't there. When you know these beasts are in the same bush as you. A little extra help could do if need to. Haha. These high-powered air guns are subject to the same licence and registration requirements as a conventional firearm. Owners and users are also required to store, transport, display and handle them safely in accordance with the regulations supporting the Firearms Act.

Have Rifled barrel and special ammo? Bet that would really send a 17 cal. 17 cal is for kiddies. I start at 22 ---> 25 ---> 458 All rifled. These are all tuned and scoped tack drivers. Those are my airguns. The 22 has 10,000 pellets in reserve. That in case I have to eat, you know? TEOTWAKI? In that case, I eat better than anybody in my area. Duck and geese in season. Pigeon and squirrels as a staple. How does racoon taste? Need to bag one and see.

Coons all dark meat, nasty but edible. Ate one as a teen. Cougar, like a strong feral taste, no like, bear, sweet, greasy, looks human hung and skinned. Antelope are like goat, tasty. goose tame good, geese wild, flying carp taste. Moose, dark, drier than elk, deer good if not feeding on sage and you don't shoot for horns. Yep If you hunt it for fur or trophy have to eat the meat. Most people I know like chunking up bear, smoking and canning. Personally I like a good porterhouse(rib eye) or T-bone. medium. Eat while watching the animals do their things. Cousin, big Viking looking man with full beard, heavy rifle man like most of us. Shoots competition. Switched to 17 cal for competitions. We teased him bad but respect his views. Still not my choice. Like the bang and heavy recoil and watching tannerite knock heck out of stuff. Anyone not familiar with it.. google it.. Great videos.

Elk, Pronghorn and Caribou the best meat on earth.
Unless that pronghorn is a dominant rutting male full of testosterone. Yuk!
California wild hog? Better than store pork in all respects.
Venison? I've eaten venison from a dozen deer. I'd rather feed it to the dog.
Jackrabbit? Yuk
Rabbit? Yum.
Bullfrog? Wow! Delish!
Squirrel stew? Ok need a dozen though.
Pigeon tacos? Hell yes!!
Bear? Hit or miss in my limited experience.
The Brits swear by "zebra" said with a soft e.
Whale was fine. Don't need to kill a whale for that again.
Horse? It's good.
Seafood? I'm Japanese. Yes!
Thats my life experience in memory so far!

what about rattle snake ? Lizards? Rattlesnake tastes like butter and garlic... Haha! That is how we cooked it. No flavour from the meat. Lizards? Not yet. Twice in tropical America and no iguana on the menu

In Montana I had one of those harvester ants go up my pants and got in my drawers. It stung me on the pecker a lot of times before I got my britches down and killed it. It was not a good time. That would have been Monday.

OK taxidermist's son here, so here's my take: Right on with Scott on Elk, Pronghorn and Caribou Moose and Bison ehh but mostly OK Wild hog, best ribs ever but all meat must be cooked good due to parasites Venison, ate a ton as a kid, varies a lot, not crazy about it now. Cottontail, Pika and brush rabbit yum! Bullfrog....ehh need too many to mess with plus I always manage to get half drowned froggin. I flat loved my grams honey baked squirrel. Real fine eatin! All dark meated birds, duck, goose, dove, pigeon etc. Ate tons and absolutely hate em, hate'em hate'em!!!!! Quail and Pheasant Love'em. Used to raise our own too. Bear, just too much bad tasting meat. One bear equaled two years of hocky puck bear burgers. Yuk! Whale, imagine greasy liver slathered in sugar. Freaking disgusting. We used to get it from the whaling station at Pt. Molate and once was more than enough. Got to be from one of those eat anything cultures for that meat Horse? For freaking frogs and other freaking barbarian aholes. May Flynt step on their feet and stand there for awhile. Only thing worse than horse thieves is horse eaters! If, I'm ever in a survival situation with you and my horse, watch your back. That would be a tough call, cause I don't like people that much, people can't live on grass, are annoying, and it'd take a big person to carry me around. *L* Seafood: Worked for a scuba shop and ate way too much in college to survive. Ate more when we had our sailboat. Like it about twice a year. BBQ rattler is not bad, kinda like chewy chicken jerky. Fried, it's too greasy for my taste. I like snakes, lizards, turtles and gators, wouldn't eat'em lest I were starvin All wildcats are disgusting though my favorite Chinese place in Commieforna was caught with a freezer full of domestic cats and dogs so I must have eaten a few. I guess properly cooked they must be OK. And I will never ever eat bugs again less I am dying of starvation. No matter how ya cook'em, they still smell like and taste like bugs. Come right down to it, now that I can afford it, I like my meat all cut up and wrapped in plastic at the butcher shop *L* Mark, I've had the harvester ant experience too. They are bad! The ones in Arizona are so rough five or six stings can kill a squirrel.
