Ok I've kept my mouth shut long enough. Its time we all join forces and let ebay know and anyone thinking of buying anything from jody1081 aka JDennis what they are getting in to.
It was bad enough when she let her kid go through a box of my rocks and start taking things out. I told him to knock it off and she's like he always does that its ok. He then proceeded to take several and when i finally gave him a piece he could have he smashed it into dust with a hammer.
Then some of the rock I left at her place to cut started showing up on ebay....I'm still missing some stuff but oh well, got the majority back. Still I said nothing here.
Then she screwed Edog...I have the pics of the crap she sent him.....
Then Drupe......
Now she's doing it to Drupe again. She's selling either the cd he lent her on wirewrapping or she's made an illegal copy and is selling it on ebay.
Enough is enough. Anyone know how to throw a monkey wrench into her gears?

I'm having a harder and harder time buying rock realated stuff on ebay from anyone!

I think it probably is...either his or a copy she made. I think she is too cheap to buy her own and not keep it till its worn out.

thanks for the tip, Xena, will avoid that seller, i've been trying to wean off eBay anyway. it hurts to think anyone would be so uncaring or worse, consciounsly trying to rip other members off. this is such a good group of rock lovers,

Let's keep an eye on her auctions, and see if anything from the box turns up as well.
I wish there was something we could do. Perhaps if it IS Drupe's CD on sale, she could be reported to eBay. Also, if it's a copy, it's illegal, and we could report that to eBay as well.

OK id drupe MADE the cd, he should report copyright violation to ebay. They will then proceed to cancel the auction. Ebay also has message boards and someone could go start a thread about the horrible service they got from her.
I was thinking a word that began with a c and rhymed with brunt and believe me, I don't use that word often. But after what she pulled on the people here, the term fits.

It's NOT Marks fault! How is he to know if a new person is gonna be a jody or a tmorris? That was bad Dude. Even as a joke. Mark has given us this place to hang out, and there is a few of us that can snoop out the scamers. Here is the link to what I was to get from her, cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6595080640It came to me with 1 ziplock baggie and 1 plastic shopping bag. The ziplock was zipped closed. Inside the box, everything was loose, there was 1 botswana, no tigereye, no carnelian, no graveyard plume. There was 2 small slabs, 1 of which was broken in two. Each slab was only big enough to cut, maybe 1 shape from. There was about 1.5 lbs of dust and small chips, maybe 1 lb in pieces smaller than a quater, and the rest was small rocks smaller than the size of a dime each. I called her right away and told her I was very disapointed that I had paid over 4 bucks a lb for crap that can't even tumble. She said she would make it right with me, then proceeded to tell me I was dishonest through PM's here. I asked her to refund my $ and she said she would after I paid for shipping back to her. I told her I would post pictures of the crap in the vendors area, and explain what she sent me. Right after that she refunded my 12.50 and told me to keep the crap. She is very dishonest, and wouldn't surprize me if she is among us now under a different name. |

This is the 1st time I saw these pics of the stuff that Jody sent you..that's just a SHAME! I can't believe that she turned out like this. I'm glad everyone stood up and brought this out in the open. This board doesn't need to tolerate this type of activity. There are Great People on this board, and let's keep the bad ones weeded out. I think whenever this type of thing happens, lets warn others before it can happen over again. Thanks XENAS fro stepping forward on this incident, as well as the others.
