Okay here's the way I see this and I'll shut up.
~ There were some posts about TeresaRocks on E-Bay and the 'large' specimens she was displaying.... some of us had some fun with the jokes... but some were offended.
~Next there was another post about her site and some us had a look. She sells large quantities of rough and poses with 'em. Kind of strange but.... whatever 'grinds yer rock' I guess.
~Some here said they wouldn't trust someone like that... Some said they had bought stuff from her and were pleased....
~Then someone said she's talking about a lawsuit on her web page... another brew ha ha ensues....
~I decided to invite her here so she could see what's up.... Teresa joins and answers all of the questions that have been flyin' around here.... people ask more questions.... she answers more questions....
~Teresa started a thread wanting to TRADE for antique beer cans.... Oh the HORROR!!!
"NO" .... "We want ROCKS!!!"
Teresa says.... 'see ya'....
and now I hear.... "well..... she just didn't "fit in".....
ludacris...

I have had one experience with Teresa, besides bidding now and then...A couple years ago I fell in love with this rock she had posted. Man I bid high as no way was I gonna lose this rock, plus I had money in paypal to cover it...I won the rock for $70 plus... That next day the tranny burns out in my Explorer I am up mud creek. I emailed her and asked if I could make payments, or if she could wait, and if not then re-list and I'll pay the fees...Several days later I get a box and there is the rock and a note with it (Don't worry about it Dale-all is good, hope things improve)
That is a true, matter of fact story...
I don't agree with arguing on Groups geared as a fun hobby place. If it was a debate club yes theres all kinds of fighting arguing etc...But not here man and I don't approve of the sticks and stones thread...I mean we are all different, each of us look at things differently, react differently, theres a flip side to every coin, but theres one thing that really bonds everyone here-ROCKS-BTW that Rock I won from her was a beautiful Agate....I hope you come back Teresa but I wouldn't blame you if you didn't if you don't then that will truly be our loss...

Why can't everyone just live and let live. This entire thread is just wrong. The only thing I read that made any sense was,
"because it is easy to be misunderstood on the net, just as it's easy to misrepresent yourself on purpose, and so I always try to consider verrrry carefully before I pass judgement. Otherwise you open yourself up to either getting hurt or hurting others way too often."
What purpose did all of this serve?

AMEN!!! Teresa has always treated me right, her rough always weighed more than advertised, and the rocks shipped were packaged like they were the crown jewels of England. She didn't do anything to deserve being treated this way. I agree with desertdweller, this thread is just WRONG.
