You were a busy man yesterday. Interesting that label was on that piece. I always thought SDS was out of San Francisco. They must import thier stuff as well. I'm confused by the Murno tag on the one? And the prices are ridiculous for a thrift store. SDS is sold heavily out of port town San Fransisco. Stella and Raymond must be getting it straight from source in China. Their prices are too cheap at $50 to be buying from a big import house out of the States. Can't see it happening. Likely they are having an oversea container brought in themselves with a portion of it loaded with SDS to get such cheap pricing. I will eventually find out if I requesting new pieces, if they get a few new pieces they about have to be buying from an import house here. Murano tags are as easy to find in thrift shops around here as a Bic pen. Don't trust. By the same token, don't be surprised if they are true Murano's. Bad glass market here. And the lady was willing to reduce price, I asked. all had what looked like ground pontils. I don't need those pieces. Am gun shy tearing them up. Plenty of other fish in the sea around here. Prices ridiculous high or low ?

I would seriously only worry about unique, older (if you can tell -- or ask Ali first) glass and pieces that have been signed or numbered. You obviously don't want to go breaking Tiffany or Lalique originals even if they have a crack in them. Those pieces would still be worth something; just not as much. Any older pieces command respect. Preserving the past is even more important that a newly made fine art masterpiece in a sort. But both categories, age and artistic creation command respect. Melting my own creations will be totally fair game hummingbirdstones ! Along w/my own personal touch. Hopefully they won't look like polished dog turds. Yet to be seen... From what I've seen of your glass tumbles, I doubt any of them will look like turds. They look like candy to me!

You ever get that Toyota you won in the auction? trying to add a little desperately needed testosterone to this thread just sayin'Ha, no, seller had a $7500 reserve on it. Darn thing was appraised at $8000, you can't sell a salvage title vehicle for for so near the appraised value. Seller has been running that vehicle thru auctions for a year waiting for a sucker. Next time I will check date vehicle began life as an auction car. If date is old then seller is trying to get max dollar. They do not state the seller's reserve, it is an unknown. So you do not know the seller's reserve. Strange that. Or stupid. Wasting bidder's time. Me and the dealers maxed bid at 3400 - 3500, it's true value at auction.

The moderators probably follow his posts carefully. Keeping them game fully employed... Awaiting hydrogen bombs to fire out of central Florida.

Murano's reduced to smidgens and ready for sorting....just kidding MsAli, but if you start getting devious the ax, I mean hammer may fall. Love having a lady on a leash. ![](https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4669/39861869072_32f56904d0_b.jpg) ![](https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4716/39183871044_51abf80f35_b.jpg) To be replaced with fresh Murano's(I mean Chinese and machine made glass). Sorry again Alison. ![](https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4752/39862129772_e8197c36ba_b.jpg) This one will be a favorite ![](https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4674/26021292778_329b57a304_b.jpg)

Its even manly enough for captbob 😁 Janke and Decatur Glass Blowing do welded sculptures. Big stuff. with big glass components hybridized into the structure. Headed to dumpster dive in the Janke glass pile today. Empty 5 gallon buckets loaded and ready to fill. What are you pointing out on this piece ? Flat ground base ? ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180125/a261debd87e303060acbf8ddcdf7ecdf.jpg)

You'd be swatting southern boys away like flies. Perfect resume. And even take the fish off the hook. Mr. Janke asked if i could find him a steel tube about 3 feet long and 30 inches round for building a bigger glass kiln. He confused me when ha said he needed a bigger 'glory hole'. Glory hole, who'd a known ![](http://buffaloah.com/a/DCTNRY/stained/dcty/jpgs/glory.jpg)
