Jim, did you know that Mr. Janke you visited does metalsmith work and jewelry? You should see the metal sculpture he just did. Its even manly enough for captbob 😁 Janke and Decatur Glass Blowing do welded sculptures. Big stuff. with big glass components hybridized into the structure. Headed to dumpster dive in the Janke glass pile today. Empty 5 gallon buckets loaded and ready to fill. What are you pointing out on this piece ? Flat ground base ? Not ground, cut straight. The base will always be a little rough. This little guy is heavy. Called pressed glass. The colors are incredible.

Shooting is extremely relaxing and a rush Darn near grew up with a gun in my hand To be honest, I am not a fan of handguns and still need practice. Give me a rifle and that is a different story You should see me with a bow ; )
You'd be swatting southern boys away like flies. Perfect resume. And even take the fish off the hook. Mr. Janke asked if i could find him a steel tube about 3 feet long and 30 inches round for building a bigger glass kiln. He confused me when ha said he needed a bigger 'glory hole'. Glory hole, who'd a known 1st time ive heard that called a Glory hole? Oh lord🤣 Anyways..... I prefer to bait my own hooks as well, but if ya put a leech on for me I don't complain. Still hate those things..... Maybe I should move down south...these California men are killing me Did you get anything good from them today?

So, work has really been interfering with my participation in this thread. Testosterone??? Here you go, captbob... Fishing pole in hand at age 2. Baiting hooks at 4. Removing fish at 5. Collecting live bait, ie grubs, worms, leaches at age 5. Walking 80 acres of woods, alone at age 5 and picking berries for the family. Making friends with skunks, wolves and other critters, alone at age 6. learning how to shoot my Grandma's 1800's short scale 22 at age 8 and perfect aim to kill a skunk. Bring the cows in alone across 40 acres of wooded pasture at 8. Learning how to split wood at 10. Hand milking the cows at 10. Driving the tractor, with baler and hay wagon at 12. Helping Uncle fix farm equipment and cars at 14. Fixing and maintaining my own car at 16. Fast forward a little. Fixing water pipes, screaming at and subduing my stallion, wrestling 75 lb hay bales, Throwing 50 lb bags of animal feed. Fixing furnace, toilet, roof on house and farm buildings, ATV, lawn tractor, etc. Using my PHD (post hole digger) to install new fencing on 2000' of pasture, plus installing all insulators and wire/tape for 4 strand, electric fence and some wood boards. Drinking with the guys and being able to "hold it" and not go to bathroom, when they did many times. They ended up drunk and I did not, over and over. At the same time, being a lady when needed and earning the respect of many. Is that enough? lol!

I feel that trolling with live bait is the ultimate. Live bait does not hold up well with trolling. Lures can take some skill to fully utilize to the optimum, depending on the type. Perfected using small lures to catch large fish, utilizing different types of rod and retrieve techniques. Caught several 34"+ Musky's on 2" to 3" lures. All in the action and retrieval. Love fishing around logs, stumps and fallen trees. Skill required to prevent catch from getting entwined in the structure.
Also, caught many large Walleye and Northern on what is called here Crappie minnows. Less than 2" long. Ice, river or lake fishing, does not matter to me. Can adapt. Easy to find structure and great spots, first time out.

One trip you can home with a variety for dinner. Walleye is and always will be my favorite to catch and eat. Skill and patience for them This snake was caught on a crappie jig, with 6lb test. Back he went to grow up

Thumbs and all else up. You two outdoors gals are killin us. Y'all both from up north ? To hell w/the south. Spent couple of hours strolling thru ADAC Interior Design Center yesterday looking at the expensive glass. Speaking of ladies, walk in ADAC with jeans and a welding hat on. You could be a cyclops and have Atlanta's finest asking you to their flat. Those lady decorators are not from this planet fine and appear totally forward. All the male competition in that establishment are light on their feet slimy gay men gave me the heeby jeebies. One shop owner told me to go shop for glass where the ADAC tenants get it at the Atlanta Merchandise Mart. That was a great contact as the sellers at the Mart sell specific category items(like new glass) and priced for resale. Picked up this amethyst geode end table w/lazer cut glass top for $10,000(not really) Talked this shop owner down to $50 for these 2 large Polish made glass wall mounts. She had them laying on a bed because she had pulled them down to redecorate and wanted them gone. She bought them from the Merchandise Mart for $25 ea had them marked up to $285 ea. Dumb Buckhead rich people buy there to say they bought there. Left there and picked thru discarded glass till dark. Glass studio is in a courtyard surrounded by artist's flats. I had an audience whilst dumpster diving lol. Me don't care. I hope Janke commissions me to help him build a glass kiln since he was asking where he could get a large steel tube. Would love to learn how to build one. Sorted the first real load of colored gay glass from a 20 pound barrel media screened prior. Must have 100 pounds rolling in coarse grit. Better stuff. About 35% by weight needs to grind longer, large stainless steel tray ready to start finish.

Me and the worker caught way up on the fire pits so I don't have anything to do. People keep calling to come here mid day and buy fire pits and it is cramping my freedom to roam. ADAC will toss you out if you take photos so care was taken. Certainly surveillance cameras got me. First generation bling ready for finishing, wet, will store in containers till they get to finishing. Any of these colors touching fetish other than the pastel Polish ?

I used to go fishing with my aunt and uncle and cousins up to MN every summer. Leech Lake was my stomping grounds back then.

Slow bloomer here, found out about the attraction of offering adventure trips after HS and had fun w/that. Uh, cheerleader outfits don't make gals pretty. May make them popular with some clicks. lot of tomboys don't get dolled up, but when they do...
