John, those are so pretty! You are getting very good with those freeform cabs! Good wrapping job also! You have learned and accomplished a lot since you started this hobby in January. Progressed much farther along than me and I am envious and jealous! llana

thanks otter,, i see what ya mean about the coils ill try that see if i can get them tight together-- and ill try the pics outside too i seen the flash on them i just fig i got a bad angle,, i never had a real camera befor so yell at me when im doin it wrong i can use all the help i can get hahahaha shoulda seen me tryin to fig what all the buttons where for on the camera, too funny,, hey i dont mind ya tellin me what im doin wrong if nobody says anything i will keep doin it wrong hahaha

Yeah all those buttons are a bit intimidating at first, but you will eventually figure them out. I have yet to find a way to take a pic of shiny rocks with the flash and not have it shine back at you in the rocks. I have also discovered that sometimes using the flash washes out the color a bit. That's why I always just take them outside when I can. They just come out so much nicer.

thanks llana --but i dont think i have Progressed further then you have i just went in a dif direction, i think i like cuttin and shapeing better then tumblin,, and i dont know what im doin with eather yet,, every time i post a pic i say to myself these guys and gals are gonna get a good laugh from these hahaha,, and i dont mind im here to have some fun with you all,, one of these days ill make a shape and say i think i could sell this one,, might take a few yrs but i like doin it so ill get better at it,, in the mean time im havein fun hahaha
i gotta tell ya you got alot more talent then i have,,all the stuff you have made has been great and original

you could start selling those on eBay this minute Sands and i'm sure they would move. those are gorgeous pieces. you truly have got to be pretty darn good at this in a very short time. i am humbled by the nice wire wrap too.....
i have a Sony Cybershot too! yer right, too many buttons. did you get a bigger mem stick yet or did you get it with one? anyway, good score, they don't make the nice ones anymore.

thanks KD---- i know im gonna like this camera it does a good job and it did come with a mem stick and rechargable batts and charger but it was only like a 4mb i just got my new one yesterday 256mb ill never use that much i delete after i load to computer so i allways start fresh but im sure ill hear (dad) can i borrow your camera hahaha and of course i wouldent say no to my daughter,, if she asked me to give it to her i prob would haha shes a good kid gets strait A-s in school and never gets in any trouble ,,i told her many times you can have anything you want and i mean anything if you do good in school if i dont have the money ill get it ,,she just told me her computer is messin up so when i get my truck done im gonna look for one for her,, but she wouldnt come right out and ask for me to get her one she knows im on a tight budget ,,but ill get her one ---one way or another

Wow, Sands! Not only are you a great shaper of rocks, AND a great friend to all of us here on the forum...........but you are obviously also a GREAT dad!
