Sands, I said it before but I will say it again. I think that your stuff will really sell well on eBay. Can't wait to see you get some of your stuff listed. And just think............when you sell some of your stuff for the 'big bucks', then you can just turn around and buy more rock stuff! How cool will that be? I might have to check with Cal and see if he has any of that bud stone left that he wants to sell. That stuff is just way too gorgeous! BE

Hey John,
That kind of looks like a variety of Jasper called "Butterfly Wing Jasper" ... is it that same stuff?
Gorgeous colors!

Sands, those are breathtaking! You just keep getting better and better! I know you won't have any problem selling those on ebay or anywhere else! Everytime I see one of your freeforms, I think "well, that's the prettiest one he's done!" Then you post another that is prettier than the last one! Keep it up! Sheesh, you inspire me! My grinder is almost set up and ready to go, belts ordered and I'm ready! llana

KD i havent finished anything sine i ordered the new belts i been sittin and waitin for them so i could give that sodalite and extra step to get it nice and smooth so they take a good polish for you guys i want them to be nice----so i havent finished anything latly there due tomorrow so ill do those pendents and get them mailed out and then ill finishe some of those otheres to put on ebay ill put up a link when i get them posted if that guy can get 44.00 for a tumbled stone im gonna start them at 19.99 see what happens ----does that sound like too much??---i havent polished any bud stone but if i can get the sodalite to shine up nice i dont think there will be a prob with that they seem to be around the same hardness

Sands, I think $19.99 is a great starting point. Are you including chains? I'd just go for the pendant at that price. Don't lowball yourself, they are worth more than that. I hate to see someone start at .99, that's just degrading. Good luck, let us know...

Sands, I definitely want you to drill a hole in mine because my wirewrapping sucks! LOL!
For those you put on eBay, it might be a good idea to somewhere in the description o say that if the buyer wants it to be drilled, you will do that for them.
I got a book about selling on Ebay a while back. Can't remember everything it recommended to do to get better results, but here's a couple I do remember.
List it under as many categories as you can. I would list it under rock and minerals, collectables and jewelry, for sure, and any other category you think fits.
Also, if you use another site for your pictures is less expensive.
Something about listing it for a 3 day auction, rather than 7 or 10 - there's more traffic on weekend and it's cheaper or something.
I'll see if I can find the book (finding something stored on my computer is like finding a needle in the haystack!) and browse thru it and see what other pointers I can pass on to ya".
