I know Etsy fairly well Beth. So I put the 'Lips' listing in a smaller theme category of 'Lips jewelry' with the 'lips' listing SEO optimized for a 'lips jewelry' search. Did this just yesterday and that listing has had more hits in 24 hours than the other 24 listings for over a month. The 'lips' listing is on page 8 of 'lips jewelry' with just one 'lips' listing Page 8 not so good but way better than page 50 lol. I intend to create 20 - SEO optimized 'lips' listings which should produce better exposure and at least attract some folks to my Etsy shop. I don't know a better way as Etsy jewelry has become a giant and is too easy to get lost in. Ha, my theory anyway. Prelim listing photo, they are not out of tumbler yet

Looks like Arlen's handiwork. Not many folks to choose from with that quality of work.

jamesp put the name of your shops in your RTH signature, so it shows up with every post. Besides, I want to go see! Lovely pieces!

Headed down to the dungeon to set up a 'Lip' melt. Fingers crossed. Got lots of sawing to do. Take 4 hours to saw and prep 50 lips. I focus a lot of attention to the lips. I want them as my signature. They must be tumble polished and they are real tricky to melt correct. Requiring precision pre-grinding and particular vases with certain melt characteristics. +/_ 50F makes difference in success and failure. Going to do a test melt on this vase, should make green lips with pink facial skin if it flows proper. It is a hand blown from an artist in Texas. Folded lip vase, the alien green is the internal layer. Some one had paid a pretty penny for it.

jamespDo you have any pointers on the best way to use my Dremel to drill a hole in one of your glass cabs? I have drilled many holes in rocks of various hardness, but a little afraid to guess with the glass. I have my thoughts, but would appreciate yours. Thanks.

On a 1/4" thick piece of plywood in a tupperware butter tray Beth. Under water of course. On melt blobs that are flat on the back and 4mm to 7mm thick there has been no breakage and little chance because they are so strong and have a good footing. However those curved tumbled thin shards I sent you I would treat those very carefully and make sure you don't break the tip off with excess drill down force. You might want to pick one as a guinea pig and practice. If you are not drilling with a backing to support the end it can break real easy with the downforce, I would take it very slow. hope this helps.

I just sit it in a small Tupperware bowl of water and drill through 1/2 way, flip and drill thru the other side. Only 1 time I ran into an issue and that piece I determined had a piece of metal in it.

Movie producer wants me to overnight a 270 pound fire pit to LA. using his Fed Ex account.
Any guess on how much that will cost ? I'll try $800. Wife says $1100.

I melted titanium in that one just to foil you.
