Sorry I didn't add to the mysterious sand stone wind tunnel syndrome. Gotta make glass for these spear throwers. Here's Adam + meglass. Adam a famed napper. Can't believe he would stoop to my slag trash glass. Go Adam !! Paleo style Cumberland ?? Sigh, that won't go with my little black dress. Perhaps I am too persnickety?

Like it! Keep posting the new spears as you get them. I love seeing how the different color combos actually end up looking after the knappers have had their way with them. Slowly the spears are coming on line Robin. Seems to bring new life in that bunch. It is the patterns derived by brick melting that blows their mind. Bricks are not a common target for glass fusers but untouchable patterns can be made as opposed to conventional slab melts.

Love the glass ringing video. LOL! At first it sounded like you were trying to play Twinkle, Twinkle little star. Not enough coffee yet this morning.

Y'all look up neon camo. That glass would hit on all neon camo's jamesp , think you could match these camo colors?
Mangshan pit viper (Protobothrops mangshanensis) Found in only two locations in China, including the Mangshan Mountains after which it is named. Very rare, fewer than 500 individuals in existence. An awesome snake. Pretty to look at, but glad it is not found here. With camo like that, you'd be hard pressed to see it before it sees you.
Mother Nature is an expert at camouflage.

Not even close Jean I dunno, those colors look pretty close to me! By now, you have amassed a huge amount of priceless, hand-knapped spear points made of specialty custom glass. Better than money anyday!

It looks like I am gaining their trust as a supplier rockpickerforever. I have received some amateur points and some real professional points. No matter, all with their best efforts. I am in a particularly good bartering position to get the finest in trading. Many of the pros only sell to collectors and apparently will trade for fine glass. Totally received with open arms and making some great rock buddies. A lot of SE US folks in the bunch. Three within 15 minutes of my home. Going to a monthly knap in not 20 miles from home on Saturday. My sentiments - "Better than money anyway!"

Finally picked up the 3 ton mother load yesterday. They still have more to get. I just need to do test melts on the remainder. This is all A grade fusible glass completely compatible with itself. No testing required. A complete A-Z distributer's lot. 40+ colors. About 800 - 30" X 32" X 3mm plates

James, you really scored on that glass! Glad you got most of it home without incident. Nice that they helped load with their forklift.
I see you got some lime green and black. Perfect colors for camo!

BTW- I forgot to mention: Although it sounds silly to say- I'm really proud of you! You are a great living example of what one can do if they only put their mind to it. You have really stepped into a gold mine with the knappers. too. What a beautiful use for your beautiful glass! Keep on keeping on!

Holy Moley, James- that should keep you busy awhile. The possibilities are endless! This is a dream come true for me Tela. Then they have cathedral glass for me to get too. Much more than this not that it is needed. I would have to test it but am certain it could be melted on itself and have awesome outcomes. Can you come help me unload ? Holy cow a job. I got a bunch of glass crates for shelves. Fine open end 1x12 pine board boxes.

The knappers are somewhat of a closed group. I met a bunch of them on the coral rivers. They know I am crazy SOB going way up into the outback in the swamp boat. Coral man. Trying to figure out if they will buy thru Etsy to help organize and streamline purchasing. Lol not exactly the Etsy crowd but certainly artisans just the same.
