A friend got this set of wheels a couple years ago, he recommended it to me. I finally got fed up with my wheels that came from graves which could take an hour+ to make a cab (remove scratches). the graves set i made about 70 cabs. this new set i made at least 70 cabs already and the wheels are still great. Way faster than typical cabbing wheels (including novas) anyway heres a link, i highly recommend these. they have ones just for the 4 soft wheels and all sorts of different stuff also but this is the only complete set. They do have a standard nova type for less but i like these the most. Just watch your fingers, the points are very long and hurt when new, after break in dont catch your fingernail on one though! www.ebay.com/itm/TOP-6-set-pcs-6-SOFT-PREMIUM-lapidary-diamond-resin-polishing-wheels-nova-rez-/253255394205

From Lithuania. How was the shipping? That's a crazy cheap price! Almost too cheap.

I see the auctions descriptions have $15 for shipping, it does seem too good to be true. How would you describe the difference between the nova copies and the rez wheels? Also I'm wondering about the numbers you got from the Graves wheels, between the 2 of us the used Genie I purchased with used wheels has probably cut over 100 cabs, the 80 grit hard wheel and the 280 Nova are the only ones that are nearing time to replace.

Also I'm wondering about the numbers you got from the Graves wheels, between the 2 of us the used Genie I purchased with used wheels has probably cut over 100 cabs, the 80 grit hard wheel and the 280 Nova are the only ones that are nearing time to replace. well if my graves wheels were accurate grits (the same grits this has) id describe graves as junk. I used actual novas (diamond pacific), it took a fair amount longer to make a cab. Now i can make a cab in about 15 min with no scratches in good material, maybe 20 min on hard agate. I polish both sides of my cabs as well. Its not too good to be true its just amazing. The cab i entered into this fcc and the last one was made on these wheels, not sure about the one prior to. on the old wheels i got tired of grinding for 45 min on 280 to get out the scratches of my 220 (yes the 280 had diamond left) so i left not as noticable ones on the back, 280 to 600 ones i left on the front if not as visible. I dont have this problem on these wheels from this company.. all scratches come out when im done now! also it seems that the polish is higher probably due to less scratches than my old wheels. The only dis advantage is the long and possibly painful break in period. the spikes on the 280 grit are about 1/4 inch long if i recall at the peaks. wear gloves for break in period. it has good instructions on how to break them in. Also the product packaging was surprisingly high quality... everything about these is. ill have to get a photo of how they currently look after 60+ cabs. These wheels literally saved my inventory that i wanted for my show. old ones would have never finished as i do batches of cabs at once usually for efficiency. the only thing i would possibly do is get the synthered wheels they offer as those are more high quality, not sure about the textured ones, but ill upgrade when time comes. also they seem a bit proud saying "if i ever need wheels again they are always happy to help" meaning they know these last. They also custom make wheels as well so i might see what a true custom wheel might cost if they dont have it... would be cool to have a curved hard wheels for a perfect dome shape every time!

glennz01I wonder if the Graves wheels are chinese imports, I've had lots of problems with those. If I were to recommend a change to the 6 wheel lineup it would be replacing the 280 nova with a 220 nova soft wheel. Basically one of these... www.ebay.com/itm/rle-6-NOVA-DIAMOND-SANDING-WHEEL-for-GENIE-220-GRIT-TAKES-THE-PLACE-OF-A-280/142763994722?hash=item213d65ae62:g:MkAAAOxyMxpRxgazMy next genie replacement will be one of those along with a new 80 grit, or maybe a 180. I use my 1 wheel Graves cabmate with a 80 grit textured wheel to preform and dome my cabs before they go on to the genie. The cabmate uses fresh water, makes the left side tray on the genie last a long time without getting excessively muddy. Like you I usually cut cabs production style and shape a few on the cabmate before I move on to the genie. Another nice feature is the cabmate has a 2 speed motor so I can use low speed for touchy stuff.

Yes probably, granted graves did send me a 220 grit nova which helped but still going from 220 to 600 was hard so I went 220 to 280 to 600. The graves wheels are junk though compared to diamond Pacific moves. However these wheels blow the diamond Pacific out of the water. This company does sell individual wheels if you need just one. If I r recall just one is 50 or 80 without shipping. I have the graves 6 wheeler renamed to cabbage. I just know I'm always going with this company for wheels for now on!

DP wheels are overpriced in comparison to others. I bought some 8 inch wheels from johnsonbrothers two years ago and am very satisfied. It was mentioned here that their wheels are not very good now. I'll keep these in mind. Mine have a lot of life left.

I sent the guy on Flee Bay a Message telling him he should offer a 6 pack of 8" wheels I asked him this. >> Hi I was looking in your store and you do not offer a set of 6 8" wheels Two 8″ electroplated diamond grinding wheels: 80# and 220# 8″ diamond resin wheels 280#, 600#, 1200# and 3000# You should list an Auction For These for replacements of the CabKing Wheels. I am waiting his response.

New message from: top-superabrasives (900 )
Hello,
Thank you for informing. You are right, this set is not online. We used to have it, but I have no idea why it is not in our store anymore. Will set up the listing soon. Are you thinking about buying?

Does anyone have experience with the TOP quality versus the PREMIUM quality?

I sent them a message abt getting a 220 soft wheel.
Are the hard wheels good? They have the plastic core wheels on sale for cheap. They are electroplated. What is the difference between sintered and electroplated?
I notice they have ads for CABSTON wheels- what is the difference? I am assuming a brand name?
Sorry abt all the questions, but I need new wheels and I am seriously considering these.
I have a very good friend in Vilnius, Lithuania and shipping for us has never been a problem. So, I'm not worried abt that.
ETA-- Nevermind- I emailed them- I'll post the answers.
