Well, like the Johnson Bros wheels, this one is not thick enough in the middle for the genie. DH is on a wild goose chase trying to find a couple washers. If all else fails, I'll cut some pvc as a spacer. Any other suggestions? Your machine should have had extra spacers for that reason. I had mine looking like that with original space settings but had to alter the layout and use a combo of the spares mine came with. Nope, mine didn't come with any. I had to use washers.

GOOD NEWS!!!!! The seller immediately responded and will be sending me a new wheel. I will report on it after it arrives and I install it. The other wheel looks well made and very aggressively 80 grit. I wanted to love it. I'm very happy with the seller. I hope to love the new wheel. Sounds like a bad wheel. I'm sure the new one will be good when it comes in. If not you may need to re balance al the wheels for it. I haven't ran into that issue before though

They also make custom wheels, I've thought about a 40 grit but the 80 grit is fast enough that they make lol. 15 min approx for a good double domed cab with the set

Well I went with Baltic Abrasives and am still waiting for my wheels altho I gave the Ole CabKing a workout on the BRAD PITT rocks. Baltic has these Narley Wheels too so keep that in mind. Europeans are known for their high standards in quality thats why I went with them. Tela please let us know if it works! So I can keep them as a Good or Rotten Vendor!

If not, I'll post that, too.

I actually got them on Fri, but I wasn't here to sign for them.

TheRock did you get a plastic body sintered wheel? It looks like they only offer steel and aluminum. ETA Nevermind- I see the Inland wheels are aluminum, too.

I don't think Tela is talking about bushings to match the hole diameter to the shaft diameter. I think she means the spacers that keep the wheels a certain distance from each other. Lynn

I got the aluminum one. The thing I like about Baltic is they offer 2" Wide where all the other vendors only have 1 1/2" wheels. That is more abrasive diamonds plus being 8" should theoretically last longer. I purchased mine on the 19th of Sept, All wheels except tje sintered wheel were in stock he told me up front that my wheel was 4 weeks out for production so I knew that before I ordered. No biggie as I have plenty of life left on mine so I am ready.

TheRock- sorry to keep bugging you...... I did some sleuthing on ebay. The people selling on ebay are the same people at Baltic Abrasives. I some feedback thanking Darius. Other than the bad wheel. I have zero complaint with them. And, sending me a new wheel is perfectly fine by me- above and beyond.

So, you're supposed to put 1 1/2" wide wheels on your 8" machine? That's bogus. Glad you could get those 2" ones. I like their website, BTW. You talked to them on the phone, too? How was their English? My friend is Lithuanian so I am familiar with how they write English. It's a little odd phrasing sometimes.

Diamond Pacific used to offer special-order 8x2" galaxy wheels, but they were more expensive. Understandable for special-order items and I'm not sure they still offer that service, but I bought an 80 grit a few years ago and have been very happy with it.

The EZ Cab also has 2" soft wheel and 1.5" hard wheels. Maybe Baltic is the supplier? I've never seen 2" wheels for sale individually before. Lynn

I have to say- These guys are awesome! I had a problem with my first 80 grit wheel, which was their close out wheel. They said they never had problems with it before and I believe them. I think I just was the unlucky one to get an off balanced wheel. HOWEVER, immediately upon emailing them, they sent out a new wheel- a more expensive wheel- at their expense. These guys rock and do as they say! I got the new wheel today in record time and it looks GREAT. I got it on with no troubles. I'm looking forward to chewing up some agate tomorrow! Yay! The seller, Baltic abrasives aka top abrasives on ebay, has joined RTH to follow up on the wheels. So, tag him with your questions or concerns. bat
