This is Moo Moo’s little sister Ivy and her little Christmas’s tree in the window. Frisky approves of this post. Edit: aha, 2 photo-bombs.... 1 is Riley who just turned 4 on the sled, the other is our bumblebee snowman at the bottom by the brush pile from the storm this summer.

Snowman hat is a large garbage can lid, for scale.

RickB Congrats proud grandpa! She's clearly an achieving go getter! I'm sure her family helped her get there, too.
My granddaughter will be home from classes for a whole month break. I'll enjoy catching up.

For those who are in the deep freeze. It was -27 wind chill today when I did chores. To warm up I was looking through some of my flower photos. The cold will eventually leave and these will bloom once again. Bee Balm Crab Apple Hens and Chicks Lupine Water Cress Viola

I'm calling this the 12 snakes of Christmas. 3rd one in as many days. I like my snakes outside.

Guess who these are for: A cute police car to remind him of his Daddy, when Daddy is working. It lights up and makes very realistic sounds. AJ is into books, so thought this was a perfect one. Sorry, my phone was acting up. The blurry photo shows the yarn that is on each page. AJ loves mirrors, so what better than a book with a mirror? Had to include the horse page. The ball is his favorite toy at day care. If anyone else has it, he will try to take it away. Found an old school roly poly toy with a twist. This one makes sounds when the switch is on and it is swatted. I also have a T-Shirt from where I work. It says I am O'so Adorable, which he is.

A nice thick chunk of sea glass, probably from a large fishing float. Odd to find a piece of lapis on the beach. Must have fell out of somebodies pocket. My god, that looks like a big ole bowl of Fruity Pebbles.

I'm calling this the 12 snakes of Christmas. 3rd one in as many days. I like my snakes outside. One of my fav movies. I also hate snakes and have frequent nightmares about them. Over the years have learned which snakes are friendly and which are not. There has been many recent incidents of Timber Rattlers near me. Some were captured on trail cams or cell Phones. I killed one who got into my front porch while I was running the water hose out front door to fill horse tank. Timber Rattlers have never been documented in this area prior. Snakes, my worst fear.

OK I have to ask.... were your gifts wrapped? Because it is SOOOOO much fun watching really little kids marvel so much over the pretty packages that they could barely care less if something were in them.

Wrapped to my daughter's specs. Red and green tissue paper with minimal tape.
