The cabs I worked up for the next players were a big flat domed "fat pod" of Lapis, a little Crazy lace dagger, and my FAVORITE was a piece of green Feather Ridge Jade that I'd love to have more of. There was a heart traced out on the preform, does anyone know where it came from? OH I forgot, the cabs are going out in a separate parcel, the rock box is FULL to the brim and I didn't want to risk the cabs getting crushed nor give up the space in the box. Knave you can expect a Small plus a thick envelope.

Knave you can expect a Small plus a thick envelope. Well the cabs came today. After a long and stressful day, it was a perfect thing! I worked late, and quick ran out and got the package. While I put the 4 year old to sleep Britney opened the 3 beautiful cabs. She came into Riley’s bedroom with her eyes shining. Our favorite is the Lapis. She has it under her lamp, on her nightstand, with her other precious things. They are all beautiful Julie! Thank you SO much! ETA: Will be sending the Jade on to Diana!

Love that lapis! Nice cabs, Julie.
Hope the USPS finds the box! Good news, they say it is rolling, maybe delayed due to all this craziness.

Beautiful cabs! Julieooly, I'll check my stash, I think I have a couple of small slabs of the Feather River Jade in there I can send you when I get back from visiting family in a couple of weeks. I want to thank everyone that certainly brightened my day with this round of Travelling Slabbetts, getting to see all your beautiful cabs and hear about the unpacking and seeing your pictures. It was good timing for sharing 'rock-y goodness' in this crazy period of 2020, that's for sure! I'll keep a large portion of the returning box to start another round a couple of months from now~~ hope y'all will join in again! Diana aka deedolce

Oh that jade made it all the way from your place through everyone on the list and then Evan chose that cab to go to you? Talk about full-circle! I'd love to have more, let me know when you're back in town. I hate that I paid more to send the box via ground I got so mixed up printing the postage from PayPal. Next time I'll know better. Maybe it was meant to be so Knave could learn about girdles and bevels before he got the box. There's a reason for everything huh?

Great news. I got the box of awesome slabettes on Monday eve. They are amazing! Work has been busy and the evenings filled to the brim. I hope to have things going soon and hopefully ship the box Monday or Tuesday.

Hello, Summer in Wisconsin is intense! All the same, I’d like to thank y’all for your patience with me. There is hope, I got started with the cabochon this evening. I would love to use this as a learning opportunity if I may. This is the flat preform. Australian jasper/quartz. Starting dome. Top view after doming side view after doming pencil for scale Just roughed it in tonight after work. Only the 80 wheel so far. Any changes or tips before I start sanding?

Thanks Julie.
I feel bad to have the box so long. I worked like a puppy dog all last week. With the holiday pay I had 70 hours (1 week). And the 2 year old is teething, the 4 year old is a Tasmanian devil, etc.... LOL. I need to get it done just to get it off my plate.
