This made me laugh out loud...literally! Some of you might remember this guy, sorry. A little fellow, about an inch long is all. He got shot I believe but he'll survive. The hole didn't go all of the way through. Happy Friday, friends!  [pics removed] Once again...thanks for posting the eye-candy! This one should be named "Ralphie"...from A Christmas Story..."You'll shoot your eye out kid!" |

LOL Headed out to the Buttes tomorrow since I finished siding the garage...my reward! LOL I'm pretty sure I found a Fairburn in my rock pile tonight. I'll post pics tomorrow in my rock pile thread...along with another 10-12 I find tomorrow! (Power of positive thinking???) |

Missed the last couple Fridays, here's what I dug up for today. Not super exciting unless you're a fan of brown, but they're still Fairburns!  Plus one I posted a long time ago, on a penny. Thanks for looking and Happy Friday!    |

I've been on pins and needles for the last two weeks! I feel like I missed my last two sessions with my psychiatrist (I don't really see one...probably should to talk about my rock addictions! LOL)
Love that first one!
So, that second pic...I just posted my find from today in my "finds" thread. Mine looks like it could be this one's "little" cousin! Same host rock! Similar (a bit less) banding as yours!

Similar (a bit less) banding as yours! Rock therapy works...mostly! That second one actually comes with a little story. That was probably my 5th or 6th time out, I had been completely skunked for fairburns. Lots of prairie agates, lace agates and bubblegum agates that I thought were fairburns, however. Then on that day I found 3 and I've been hooked ever since. I believe that was the second one found that day... 🙂 |
