well I sure hope that many are just waiting until the end of the month to enter a cab for this month, especially with generous additional prize @jadedvision has put up! I'm gonna go ahead and post my entry for the month. my entry is Imperial Jasper. I must say I really, really love workinh with this material! pretty happy with how the cab turned out but also bit bummed since it's just about the last of what I have.

That is pretty nice material I think so far it’s just you and alikat218 I would jump in if I had the time but to busy plus not sure if I even have any jasper worth working on after looking at these two cabs
If I were to slip a piece of nice looking agate in think anyone would notice🧐

Nice cabochon oldschoolrocker. My offering may not be having the effect I hoped it would, but hey that only increases your chances of winning! Lots of slabs fit into a medium flat rate box. I ‘m pretty sure there’s an imperial slab in the mix too. thanks! heck, even a small flat rate box is quite a generous prize so a medium box is crazy generous! I'm really thinking theres got to be several that are waiting until closer to the end of the month enter their cabs. cant imagine too many would be willing to pass up chance to win such a nice prize!

thanks MsAli! yeah I thought for sure there would be good amt of entries with such a broad theme. guess we shall see! I said this before but with the last contest being such a record setting event I knew we would have a major drop off even with an excellent inclusive theme. We'll get some last minute entries for sure.

I'm hoping to enter a cab but taking care of a sick wife and painful arthritic fingers are slowing me down. I've narrowed down some likely slabs and will try to get to the wheels in a day or 2. We'll see if the fingers cooperate.

One blew apart trying to get it off the stick, one just isn't cool enough, and the other is poppy jasper If I don't get around to making something else, at least I do have SOMEthing to post if I remember to actually do it.

I've got some material that Tommy was kind enough to send. I've got to figure out how I'm going to get some heat into the garage (expecting single digits overnight this weekend) and then I'll be working on mine. Last minute...

I have an entry I’m working on, just forgot to take profile photo to show dome top. Almost ready. I wish I could enter a pair, just finished a sweet little pair of triangle shape Landscape Picture Jasper that will make nice earrings

MsAli I have to agree that is pretty amazing stuff. I have never seen or herd of that where is it from This is from Oregon. From what I've read its outside of q town called Prineville yeah, hard to find big and thick pieces... usually a layer ~ 1-2 cm so you won't get many slabs out of usable pcs... fun to think it was bat guano, not sure that's true but a good name/story is worth a bit...

I should have posted it I found a guy from California that has a jewelry store that told a good story about it coming from a small cave up on the side of a hill it was deep enough so it was to dark to see much and full of bats
He found some wood started a fire that light the cave and fired up the bats funny thing he did say it probably the smartest thing he ever done
He said the smoke was getting to him he was having a hard time breathing then left after getting some from the back of the cave There was pictures on his website proving he may have been there
Then I noticed the store was closed no further information. Hum in jail for killing bats He find the cave in roadside trails / roadside collecting or something

NDK recently acquired some rough. It is some work to get it down to usable material. Lots of matrix thats needs trimming. So far I've managed to get 1 piece trimmed up but am pretty happy with the size. I should of weighed it before I trimmed it up
