It is contour polished for sure. Wet grinder with diamond 4 " pads. finished the polishing with 4 inch felt pad with cerium oxide polish. |

orneryboi Wow, you just found these? All very nice but I’m loving #3 and 7. I also don’t have the knowledge to identify petrified wood. A few of these bear some similarities to Hells Canyon petrified Sequoia wood. That’s not to say that they are but just have similar patterns. I especially love when wood has agate filled or even open rot holes like #7. Very nice!👍
