Sorted through first box of slabs and found a couple more "ideas". 2 more boxes to go through today after I get my first shot and eat some lunch (oh and the wife wants to go for a hike as we actually have a nice day today). Had some time to get my entry done today! This slab kind of fell apart on me in a few spots due to fractures but got several good pieces out of it. We'll, I wasn't sure what I was going to do this month for the contest, so I did a couple and then picked the best. I did a Crinoidal Limestone Marble that I thought would be the entry, but it undercut more than I would have liked for a contest entry...so, I'll go with what seems to be the "go to" fossil this month. Turitella Agate!

I just love the looks of this material and there have already been some other great entries this month...but I can't resist. The preform in the before pic is the one on the right.
