Bravo, I've been wondering how it went! It went pretty well. Lots of fractured material today...some not though. I'm posting pictures in a minute...

Bravo, Jason.
That last one isn't a dud, it's just a Teepee embryo.

The pattern in the third photo and the rock on the left kind of looks like a Lucha Libre face or superhero villan face or something.
Those look like some good finds. Too bad there's so many fractures, but they look very cool either way. The last two with fortifications look very good. I really like the red in the second to last pic. I also like how the one in the 6th pic is split in the two sections, looks really interesting.
Nice work putting all that effort in!

Boy, some of those fractures are heartbreakers. If they are healed better than they look, they could make some cool cabs (brecciated fortifications = breccifications?). #5 looks quite promising.

So patience is NOT my strongest asset! LOL I couldn't wait to cut these and there was enough light left to cut the nodules in half. Several of these are riddled with fractures, so I'll either get some really nice smaller cabs, or they'll be left as specimens. I haven't decided yet. The first four pictures are of the BIG nodule. It was two nodules welded together, so I cut down the center of each section. In the fifth picture, that's just a face cut due to the fact it was exposed. I think once I get toward the center of the nodule, there will be a lot gooder (it's a word!) fortifications...but we'll see. The last picture is what a "dud" looks like. It was a whole nodule, so it could have gone either way...this one went south. I just had to show that not ALL the finds are awesome. LOL A couple of demonic faces

That's too funny. I didn't even see the Lucha Libre face until you pointed it out...but sure as coprolite, it's there! (I couldn't say the "s" word there! ) I'll have to take a really hard look at them to determine if I can get some good cabs "between" the fractures...because if I can, I think there could be some amazing cabs coming out of these. There are a couple that are really solid...and a couple of those solid ones, I don't think I've cut to the "nicest" part of the nodule yet - so, fingers crossed. These that I cut this evening were just the whole nodules that I had no clue what was on the interior. I still have about a third of a bucket of others to cut...so there might still be some more solid ones in the works... I would definitely say the results were so worth the effort today! And the only "injuries" were some skinned knuckles - and a bruise on my back that my wife saw after I got out of the shower. I didn't realize I was pushing so hard against the rock wall trying to get these nodules to let loose! LOL - But, that's what they make band-aids and Ibuprofen for! Boy, some of those fractures are heartbreakers. If they are healed better than they look, they could make some cool cabs (brecciated fortifications = breccifications?). #5 looks quite promising. Thanks Stephan! Breccifications! I love it! - The sixth picture down is a really cool one to me. It looks like the "fractures" from eons ago healed up with quartz. This is one I'm going to have to take a real hard look at to see if I can make some decent cabs, while showing that quartz line. 5, 7, and 8 are ones that I'm pretty stoked about. I think they all look promising. However, Number 5 is Alive - oh wait - flashback to Short Circuit there! Anyway, number 5 is the one I can't wait to take a couple more slabs off. I think it's going to get really good in about two cuts...but we'll see.

If #6 holds up, it’ll be amazing. Keep cutting and posting. Sleep is for those who don’t have amazing agates.

If I could cut in the dark...and if I had a "silent mode" for the 10", I'd be cutting right now! LOL I try to wait until 8:00 to start cutting...even though I think my neighbor on the south side (where my saw is setup) gets up earlier than that...

More red druzy. Wow. Hope the fractures in the big one are stable enough for you to make some cabs.

Very nice, Jason, even if there are some fractures! It's hard not to get hooked on those Teepees, isn't it? Those duds can be a bit disappointing, but overall you've had some fantastic luck out there...keep it up!

More red druzy. Wow. Hope the fractures in the big one are stable enough for you to make some cabs. Thanks Beth! I think I might be able to work around a lot of the fractures and still get some decent cabs out of them. I didn't work those pieces today, so I won't know for sure until I cut a few slabs off of them. Fingers crossed though. Very nice, Jason, even if there are some fractures! It's hard not to get hooked on those Teepees, isn't it? Those duds can be a bit disappointing, but overall you've had some fantastic luck out there...keep it up! Thanks Mike! I definitely wasn't complaining about the "dud" - I've been VERY lucky to get some of the pieces I've gotten here recently. I only wanted to show an example - and to let everyone know not EVERY one is a gem.

Wow! Those are smokin'! Can't wait to see what you do with them! Thank you so much! The fortifications in that last picture are 2.25"x1.5". I'd like to keep that as one piece as it's solid. So, it will make a large cab - too bad I didn't have this for last month's cab contest! LOL
