The pattern in the third photo and the rock on the left kind of looks like a Lucha Libre face or superhero villan face or something. Those look like some good finds. Too bad there's so many fractures, but they look very cool either way. The last two with fortifications look very good. I really like the red in the second to last pic. I also like how the one in the 6th pic is split in the two sections, looks really interesting. Nice work putting all that effort in! No blood donated to the site today? Stewdog I was gonna post this and then I saw you noticed it too. I’m thing Rey Mysterio lol.

I’m thing Rey Mysterio lol. LOL, I can see the resemblance to Rey Mystro for sure! We've been missing out Mondo Lucha wrestling in Milwaukee this last year and can't wait to go see a match soon! www.packagingoftheworld.com/2020/07/mondo-lucha-lager.htmlThose are some awesome looking slabs, jasoninsd !! That yellow really puts them over the top!

LOL Those are about as amazing as it gets Thanks Stephan! I was really stoked that this group turned out some really beauties! I was thinking the first group I cut the other night was going to be the best...but some of these really are some stunning examples. Wow those are awesome. Those colors just pop up and kick you in the face Thanks Lunker! I hope you mean kick you in the face in a good way...and not like walking down a dark ally and getting mugged kind of way. LOL I agree. The colors that came out of this batch of finds were pretty spectacular. Stewdog I was gonna post this and then I saw you noticed it too. I’m thing Rey Mysterio lol. That yellow really puts them over the top! Thanks Jesse! I don't know why I get so excited when I see the yellow start showing up! LOL. That last one has some very definitive lines with the yellow. I've got to try and keep that particular fortification pattern as one entire cab. That one would be a doozy!

Dang Jason!! You're setting the bar pretty high. I am going to have to dig down into my stash of material and see what I can come up with. That and you caught me with my new knee still in re-hab mode, and the big saw on limited duty with the summer heat here. Oh well as they say, "no hill for a stepper"!!

I'd love to see what you've got hiding around your place. You always seem to come up some amazing stuff yourself! Definitely don't push the knee too hard! Knee rehab can be a pain in the butt...well, I guess more accurately, a pain in the leg! I'll definitely chalk up my recent finds to "beginners luck"...but I'm all for it continuing! LOL

I couldn't believe it when I found it. Talk about hitting the lottery with the cut on this one! If I would have cut at ANY other angle, this orb (tube of sorts really that was cross-sectioned) would not have been hit perfectly. Talk about LUCKY! LOL - No. It wasn't you. I think it was Pat or Robin...but I could just be wanting to blame them. LOL

Here's a couple pictures from two slabs I cut yesterday. This little orb is about 6mm in diameter. It runs through both slabs, so it was over 16mm in length. I thought it was pretty cool because there's fortifications in the middle of this orb!! stephan I'm tagging you in particular on this one. Dude! Not only is there a fortification in the orb, but there’s an orb in the fortification in the orb. We’re talking fractal agate here. I wonder if there’s a fortification in the orb in the fortification in the orb….
