It's about time you got that trash picked up and out of that yard!

It's about time you got that trash picked up and out of that yard! You got a point. My mom ran over a 200lb chunk of petrified wood with the lawnmower in the tall grass and I got yelled at for it. Around here, instead of getting yelled at for picking up toys around the yard, it’s rocks.

LOL Hidden in the tall grass, because the current tenants at my grandparents are dirtbags who allowed the property to go to trash and didn’t keep up on the landscaping. Glad those freeloaders are getting kicked out.

If that's all trash, you can just send it all off to me and I'll take care of it. I'll pay the shipping.

So earlier, I was looking at these pictures on my phone. I just now got to see them on the laptop...Holy Crap my friend! Several of those look to be "museum grade"...but that's just me.

Some I don’t understand why, other pieces I get it. The stuff with fractures make sense. He’d face and polish pieces and line the rock garden around the house. Also… when you have that much material, you obviously have to start high grading, because it all can’t come inside. But yeah… that piece of blue Biggs got picked up and bright inside. Also the piece of youngite I sent you the video of. Along with a ton of other things 😂

Mostly to prevent tweaker squatters from moving in and stealing things. The tenants turned out to be lazy bums and I’m potentially going to buy the property. So they should be getting kicked out before long.

Grandpa's garbage looks pretty good to me. Can I provide you with a dumpster?

Grandpas gold mine. Easter egg hunt in the tall grass. Some good stuff. Good thing you're into rocks to know just how good they are. Despite the tenants, this feels kind of heartwarming.

Sooo, since those people are getting kicked out, do you need a new tenant? That's some awesome stuff. Thanks for taking the time to post pictures.

realrockhound - Saw that you mentioned Youngite earlier in this thread.
We have a handful of small pieces, and one that's 10-11 pounds (I think) that was intended for the slab saw. That one might never get slabbed now.
I always enjoy seeing the photos of the stuff you find there.

Hers's the chunk. I'd say its roughly 5 lbs. Among letting all of the stuff getting grown over with weeds and tall grass, the tenants for whatever reason thought it would be in their best interest to cover all the rocks in the rock garden (that literally surrounds the whole property) with dog crap and grass clippings. This chunk is just one of the pieces I found under all of that mess.
