To be clear, is everything shown in one box and there will be other boxes, or is what is shown to be divided up?

Where is that new BD 10" saw and how do you like it? Maybe you posted about it and I missed it.

Welcome to the forum Randy.
Just curious... how will your build be an improvement over the Thumler's 12 that you are taking parts from?
Better, stronger, faster - like the 6 Million Dollar Man?
Your clear lid will frost over in a quickness once you start rolling rocks in there. If you care.
Looking forward to seeing your finished creation!

I hope it's not too late for you to return that French maid outfit James.
Maybe you can swap it for the naughty nurse uniform.

That was my thinking as well. Maybe go see Robert at the restaurant or talk with the guys at the bait shop about finding a water taxi service. It's not that you aren't man enough to protect her south of the border, it's that you are not enough men to do the job. John Wayne & Clint Eastwood together wouldn't keep the banditos at bay. A SEAL team... maybe. Maid service ? That's Melissa's job. And she can cook for us too. Whilst we are out straining filling buckets of rocks. We will be hungry Melissa ! Can't decide if posting that was extremely brave or stupid Ya do know she has a gun now... Besides, ya left out doing laundry!

I'm pretty sure he is just saying stay the hell away from Mexico.
I'll stick with the Best Western. I like having clean, dry towels every day.
Locals would figure out in a quickness that the rented house is empty every day. Rock hounds have very predictable schedules. Wouldn't want to come back after a day of hounding and find all my stuff gone.
A couple of the right people and the house could work - break-ins aside. One wrong person and the stay turns into a fustercluck. Will stick with motel if I ever go back.
Deer season in full swing down there. No rocks until at least late January. Boat would be a huge plus. More than a couple/few people and the boat becomes item of contention.

LOL I saw that about 15 minutes ago and had to leave this site. My response would have probably broken 6 or 7 of the new rules.

One can post pictures here using the attachment button without having a hosting service. Think this is why we have it now, so new folks can participate without having to jump through a lot of hoops. Pretty sure the photo will need to be resized ( made smaller - take it from megabites to kilobites ? ) before you can use the forum hosting option.
Maybe someone with less on their plate today than I have can explain the process more clearly.
ETA: thinkin' there is a thread somewhere on how to do this.

Stunning rocks!
If I could learn myself how to take such pictures I would post them every day. I'm more the level of a PHD camera operator - Press Here Dummy.
I usually have to take 20 to 30 pictures to get one worth posting. So I don't bother. It frustrates me. Need to take the time to learn. Keep threatening to do so, never find the time. Camera slacker.

I don't see why you couldn't run whatever you want. May have to move water valves if some wheel doesn't line up right.

Hey Rob, You've gotten pretty decent numbers on the machines, so I don't have much to add there. I would have maybe said $500 for the high end on the HP unit, but I reckon the stand it is on is worth something. I assume it has a working motor. The location - no shipping - is worth something as well. I have the exact same model HP machine. You wouldn't want a 3rd wheel on the wheel side. On the expanding drums, you can change the belts on the inside wheel without removing the outside wheel. It takes a bit of finesse, but it can be done. Here is mine before and after - I am missing the belt guard I'm gonna throw mine on craigslist someday as I never use it, I don't cab and have other machines that do what this one does, so it is a redundant piece of equipment - and it takes up way too much room. Not so sure I would try to make a super grinder out of it. They take off a lot of material and the drain for these in is the back between the wheels. I would think that the drain hole would get clogged fairly easily and keeping it open could be a hassle. Can you go look at these again before the auction? The outside expanding wheel looks okay in the pic, but if they are dry rotted (won't work) those 8" expanding wheels are expensive - like 80-90 bucks each. May give you the chance to see if a larger blade will fit on the saw as well. Good luck!
