Wow Tony, look at you! Looks like you're getting in some cabbing time in this heat. My fav is the Moj Turq, love it and the shape is perfect. Always great to see your opals again. Jo

Wow John, Wow. That is a dramatic difference. You turned a boring tabletop into a work of art! Jo

Krystee, maybe you can get a little more mileage out of your birthday and get the family to build you a saw table like Randy has.

I'll start it off to say that the creative aspect of RTH helps me satisfy my need to create. The rock knowledge aspect gives me an intellectual outlet. The friendship and family part of RTH helps me feel connected to great people with common interests while we travel. As I've learned, each member has something very special about them and I look forward to seeing them on here while we share things related and unrelated to rocks. Jo

There have been several versions of this over the years, but I wanted to hear members give their thoughts again.
Here's the question: What does RTH bring to your hobby and/or to your daily life?
I want to hear from all you rock nuts who post on here regularly or post once in a while... and I want to give a shout out to all you lurkers out there to check in with us on this thread and say hey. So, let's hear it... even if it is just to check the board to see what's going on while you wake up with your cup of coffee in the morning, we wanna hear from you... Anything goes.

John, I'm wondering if the blue in the unknown blue is a moonstone flash. Or, the one on the left looks like a beryl shape. If you could stand to share some of the Muscovite/Selenite stuff, I could use a few pieces. PM me if you want to do a trade or I'll pay for postage. Jo

John has a busy family and is very active in his church. I'm sure he'll check in before too long. Jo

Seriously?? THE Nevada Barr? We've listened to all her books while we travel the country and see the National Parks! So cool to listen to several while we were at the same park that was in the story we listened to. Pics! Jo

Hey Kurt you could almost do a negative sculpture on it. Sculpt a cut out in the center of the stone to be an animal or something. But then again, that one part might get pretty thin. Just brainstorming, what you did is very cool. Jo

Wow Kurt, that tubey, lacey stone is just wonderful! So striking with the fortification pattern and killer shine. Jo

Kewl... and don't worry about the Jade. It's all good. I might use the pieces for something small some day. It is beautiful quality. Thanks for the opportunity to work with these stones. It was alot of fun. Jo

Wow, that piques my curiosity, mostly... So, does that turn round wire into square or what?
