I agree with realrockhound, the first slabs look like Cady's Mountain Agate.

I don't know Colorado rockhounding but I'd be willing to bet there are a few gem and mineral clubs in the Denver area that you might be able to contact to see if they could suggest anyone to go hounding. Also if you are on that Fbook site, I know there are several rockhounding groups for Colorado.

Thank you everyone. I wasn't sure if I liked it or not but I hadn't wire wrapped in a while so figured I'm just a bit rusty. Too bad about the casualty. I thought I had packed them well enough but evidently not. So sorry. I love the wrap. The cabs were packed well. It was soft material. The box was dented and partially ripped upon arrival. Glad you loved it. That's always nice to hear. I'm at least glad that the box arrived with it's contents intact for the most part.

I miss picking Huckleberries. I was only able to do it a few times when I lived in Montana. There are no huckleberries in Arizona unfortunately. I would too. Sorry to hear there aren't any down there. I think I'm going to live in Washington for the rest of my life. I'd love to retire to Montana though. Montana was nice when I lived there but I'm sure things have changed.

I sure miss gardening but my mom feeds the birds and bunnies so there is no way to have a garden here. I have the cactus garden fenced off but the javelina think it's their own private retreat.

I sort of like to garden. I used to have more of a green thumb, but kinda lost it these last couple years. My garden is doing alright this year, some strawberries both red and pineapple (white variety). I do go huckleberry picking "in the wild" during the summer (almost in season!) and go cherry, peach, and pumpkin picking up on greenbluff which is our local farm area. I miss picking Huckleberries. I was only able to do it a few times when I lived in Montana. There are no huckleberries in Arizona unfortunately.
