Just potted up the the last tomatoes I purchased today.Have my crop for the year ready for the right time to plant. Finally broke down and built a small greenhouse for them, got tired of carrying pots in the house every time it got too cold. This greenhouse cost me 50 bucks to build, dont like to spend too much.I will be presprouting lots of different seeds this week and next, then planting them in small containers. Cozy And my babies Heres some sugar snap peas I presprouted, fixin'to plant em in the garden.Be up in a day or so. Another season here.My 40th season. When I started,I was the youngster here, now I'm the old fart, not many gardens to be found anymore. snuffy

Can i plow your garden next year? About 3 inches of topsoil, then couple inch layer of jaspers, quartzites and wood,in almost solid layer, then clay.No telling how many tons per acre. Most all the topsoil was farmed away, washed or blown away in the olden days, what little was there to begin with. Build my soil on top of it.You are welcome to come spade it up next winter!! snuffy

Many headaches ago,I had probably 7 or 8 different CE's.The Lortone belt for the 33b will fit and solve the belt problem. Be sure the pulleys are lined up,about half of them were offset, had to adjust after buying.Generally a pain in the a%& they are.Rebuilt several with Lortone belts, motors, bearings, etc. The plastic pulleys will split, motors wont last! Can get them from therockshed.com snuffy

I live in the middle of an oilfield. Fracking has been going on since the 70's here.If they run them out of Colorado, they are welcome to come here,we welcome them to Texas!

Nice, would you mind sharing the recipe ? I was going to try and set up a couple vibe flat laps to polish my brazilians for nightlights but haven't got that far. It would be soooooooo much easier to put them in the double Lot-o. I run these through 1 coarse grind in my 12lb Lortones for 2 weeks. The grit breaks down finer and finer, Then off to the Loto for ao 1000,about 3 days, then ao polish for 3 days.I cant say how they would do just using the Loto,I only do the 1000 and polish in them.Good luck! Maybe someone here that takes them 220 grit on through the stages in the Loto can chime in with their methods snuffy

I've planted some plums and peaches over the last coupla months.Didnt really expect much the first year, but after a nice warm spell, blooms burst forth, giving me hope for a little taste. But the disappointment is a cold front blew in today, supposed to be around 20 tonight.Oh well, always next year! Scott, the Santa Rosa looked good Metheley could had had a few A peach The Bruce plum was full of blooms. Kinda hit and miss on fruit trees here. snuffy
