Most look like copper ore mixes (chrysocolla, turquoise, shattuckite). The second could be a variscite, which is generally green but does come in other colors. It is also often found with copper ores. No idea on the 5th one. Great job on the cabbing though. I think you are right on the second one. I suspected it was variscite or turquoise

As most of you know already, I am totally addicted to fire agate. I must get my daily dose!! I do not see how anyone could be satisfied with just one`!! There are just so many variations.
I actually never got a chance to take any other photos of this one as it found a home relatively quickly.
There are a few things that I enjoy more than cutting fire agate, and then sending them on their way to a new home so I can get more to do it all over again.
Thank you everyone for your responses

No Chuck, I sell them all on my Facebook page. I cut almost daily to maintain my inventory of cut stones. I do have buckets of rough to cut from though...

That first cab sure does remind me of the Last Chance Canyon Agate that Larry, Diane, Susan, Goober and I were digging last year. Christopher – I’ve been reading about your trip(s) out there on that other board - is that area is still open for collecting? You cannot dig in the canyon itself but it is still open outside of it. I think Larry posted a map of the boundaries in the "trips" sections

I like how the tip has the darker color and then it fades, cool effect!
