I try not to buy produce coming from Mexico either. While living in California I've seen Mexican field workers pee in the rows of vegetables, and even lower their pants & take a big dump in the rows.

Sorry Phil, just checked my shed. What I have are 2 very old Covington 10" discs with 1/2" unthreaded holes. Also a couple of 8" X 3/4" threaded discs. Don't think Covington even makes the 10" discs anymore. Hope Tony has an 8" for ya.

Keep us updated. If Tony doesn't have one, I think I have one in my shed.

The B52's taking off and landing at March AFB. We were right in the flight path and the sound was deafening. Made the whole house shake too.

Sound of course. I'm a bit with Radio on this one, but my favorite sounds would be the bark of well tuned vintage racing engines. Not the high pitched scream of modern racing engines, but the throaty bark of the old 4 banger Offenhauser & other early engines.
The sizzle of Heli-Ark welding on stainless steel.
The thump of an artillery round killing the enemy in the distance, and the shock wave that follows.

ah ya know Jean-- threads get derailed so easily around here besides my post count down ha ha machine shops! the smells of metals being ground, drilled, milled, sawed, sheared, bent, heated & annealed ect... and all that mixing with the oils & coolants is a working man satisfaction thanks for the ocean breeze expo ! After 40 + years working with metal, I'm trying hard to forget the smells.

The smell of BenGay. Great stuff for sore muscles. Just don't pick up the wrong tube in the dark & think it's the KY Jelly.

My last job I had was working cattle in a remote area in ND,got use to the smells on the ranch-now living here in Oregon and in a city,we drive pass a dairy farm a lot...Most hate the smell, but I don't mind it-reminds me of working in the country with nobody around, open skies,no traffic and lot's of cows....LOL Out in an open pasture they smell good. Feed lots are a different matter.

Memories. When we'd take the grand parents for a ride in the country, as we'd pass a field of cattle my grandfather would role down the window, stick his head out and take a deep breath. In his broken English he would exclaim, "Oh cheezus dat smells goot".

The smell of my grandparents house when they were making sausages, or baking pastries. (They were Czech immigrants). They always made a special batch of sausages for me that were kid size. About 2" long.
