Looks like a fun trip. Never have done the drywasher thing, just sluice and pans.
Had to laugh a few days ago when I checked the weather-it was warmer in Cody than it was in Quartzsite.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, all. So, the drunk aliens left Las Vegas, took a wrong turn on the Extraterrestrial Highway and ran into Heart Mountain. That could explain why it's not up by Cook City any more. You all take care.

Monday morning the crud was moving out and the clouds were clearing. Took this from the front yard, thought it was kind of neat. Have a great day. Russ

Happy Birthday, Dianne.
Hmmm..... Dianne's birthday. Full moon. Must be a coincidence, right?

Settle down, you two.
Jean, that thing is in incredible shape. Don't see them like that in snow country. One of my classmates had a Corvair thing for years, had several of them sitting around. At least one of them was a turbo car, but I disremember if he actually got that one on the road. He finally got rid of all that stuff right before collectors started running the prices up. They really weren't bad cars, but they were a little quirky. One of my father's cousins owned a service station and he refused to work on them.

Nice job on those as always. I'll bet in person that green in the last one is really striking.

Interesting. I was going to say it looks really familiar to some stuff I have a little of, then I saw this third post and said "Ah Ha!". Never had heard it called that before, we always just called it clinker. Some call it all scoria although it really isn't. Interesting stuff, guess I need to play around with it a little more.
