I am not prone to emotions, but that brought me to tears. I guess I can relate as my last dog (Tess - black lab) was put down and we got back the ashes. You did a wonderful thing. Perfect.
I am not sentimental when it comes to such things but this was a little moving.
A friend at work had to put down her dog and asked me if I could make a piece of jewelry with the ashes. I told her I could put them under a stone. So yesterday I went by the office (Did the social distancing thing) and put the ashes and some fur from her other dog under the stones. I set them right in front of her. She was holding back tears by the time I was done.
There are a couple people on here who have made their own hoppers for that Machine. One of them is jamesp . Some one even made one from a propane cylinder I believe. Here is a link that shows different configurations that can be had.
Well every one is making hearts. I tried a couple freehand out of some gold sheen. Small one was the first. I think my wheels are too close together to do what I want. So here you are Miss Alison
