Don't play guitar so I have a few questions. How thick can a pick be? Will you leave the reed and relief on it? I would saw the shape then remove thickness by sanding or grinding. Then finish with what ever polishing method you prefer. Sound like a cool idea. Nice to see results when you are done.

Was just reading an article about water glass. I think I remember stardiamond used this to attach rocks too small to vice up to boards for sawing. First does anyone use this method and is it better than wood glue? Second where would you get it and what is the process, does it come in liquid or powder, ready to use? |

Billy ran it through a rolling mill with one of the plates he had. Left a half textured half not which was really cool I love that texture. It's very you.  The pattern plate has one side that has the little square holes clogged up with something and at first couldn't figure out why half came out smooth. Another accidental conundrum that looked like we had planned it that way. That Miss Ali sure is good. |
