I have a piece that looks very similar to that one. No saw big enough to cut it, so it sits.

You should get some killer pendant pieces out of that bunch. Awesome patterns!

Love the All-star batch! Great variety, polish, & as always, the presentation. No need to apologize for the quantity, as we all look forward to your photos! Gotta say 5, 7, 17, & 29 are the favorites. Glad you've thawed out enough to keep'em rolling. Thanks for the show. Jeremy Thanks, Jeremy! About time we see something coming from your tumbler, isn't it?

Those are all sweet. Probably would give the blue ribbon to that last one.

Welcome to the forum! Look forward to seeing what kind of rocks you find. P.S. - If English isn't your first language, I sure wouldn't know. Actually, you could give some lessons here.

I don't know, Tela, but I like it. Took a nice shine. I got most of the flats from Diana deedolce . She may be able to tell us. Could possibly be Rainbow Ridge jasper out of CA Thanks, Brian. You said earlier: "Time to mop the drool off my keyboard " I feel the same when I look at your collection, purchased and hounded!

Thanks, Daimon. We look forward to seeing your finished tumbles. Glad you disregarded the instructions you got with your tumbler. Patience is the name of the game. A vug is a small cavity in a rock, usually lined with crystals. Like number 26 in my photo lineup. They can be attractive features, but require a little attention at clean outs. Make sure there is no grit hiding in there before moving on to the next stage, to avoid contamination.

Badass Does 26 have a vug or is the center full of exceptionally clear agate? Could be either from the pic and I saw the latter at class last week. Scott, this one has clear agate in the middle, which looks like a vug, kinda like what you are talking about.

Good luck to you on your new venture, 'Jimglass'. If we know one thing, you'll go all in on it. Looks like you'll need to keep a couple pints of blood laying around, what with all that sharp glass. I know you have leather hands and all, but one of 'em is gonna get you some day. Better check the expiration date on those Rio's. If they're getting ready to go bad, just let me know!

MMMMMMM sublime. Those are so shiny and purty. What is #4? Never seen that before. I don't know, Tela, but I like it. Took a nice shine. I got most of the flats from Diana deedolce. She may be able to tell us.

"What is 23? I just pulled a finished batch today, and I have a rock (probably came from you) that looks almost identical. Makes me wonder if you cut it, and I got a piece of it." aDave, that is likely a Laguna agate. I usually cut them in half, to see the banding in the middle. I do tend to tumble half and give the other half away. You may very well have the twin. Look forward to seeing it.

Nice stuff as usual Randy Garage Rocker. Great variety and the photos are A-1. Do I see some Lavic in there? Hmmm, now where's that Kentucky agate that "someone" sent me? Good job. Dave Thanks Dave! If you see Lavic, it would be in #12. Not sure what those are. I had others that aren't pictured. There were too many tumbles to photo them all. Now, go find that KY agate and give it a go!

Very nice..... On the Blue Lace Agate....#2, I assume they were tumbled....rotary or vibe or both....? How did you reduce the undercutting of the softer "white" material....?.....I noticed some of yours still showed signs of it, but a whole lot less then mine turned out. What material did you mix with that Agate....I tried other Agates, didn't go well for the Lace. Thanks for the pic's. Thank you! The blue lace was one of the more finicky tumbles I've tried lately. It tends to develop cracks, or hairline vugs, as it grinds. It took some brushing out to keep grit from moving on from step to step. I rotary tumbled the first stage and then moved on to the Lot O for finishing. It was tumbled with all the other material in these pics. I don't believe it would have done any better if tumbled on it's own. Just the nature of the material. There were some rejects that didn't make it, and others that just tumbled away to tiny pieces. The ones that made it are not all perfect, but still nice looking tumbles. Good luck with yours.

Thanks for the fine show. I'd have to go with 33, very nice color and most unusual pattern. Thanks! That's a nice little Laker.

1 thru 34 are great but 21 and 26 are favorites. What are the ones in picture 21? Chuck Thanks, Chuck. #21 is leftover pieces of yellow and black Kentucky agate, like this. The larger pieces have already been tumbled.

Looking back, I see that I haven't posted any tumbles since November. I did shut down for a while during the sub-zero temps we experienced this winter. I have, though, finished three batches since that time and figured I would grab the camera and show what I've been up to. Here's a pretty good sampling:

Sorry for the over abundance of photos. Will try not to get so many in future threads. For any newer members that may have comments or questions, please use the 'reply' prompt and not the 'quote' prompt, which will re-post all these photos again. I feel guilty enough, as is.

I just use a thin strip of duct tape over the top to each side. Has held the top on fine. I got snapped on the wrist when the rubber band broke while trying Rob's trick. Did you cry? Of course! Then I vowed to never, never, never let it happen again. Especially since I had no more rubber bands. I can't just put 'rubber bands' on my class's school supply list and pilfer as many as I need.
