A long point out into the lake Randy. Wind often blowing out of Mexico and stops highway sound which is about 6 miles away. The only person I have seen while out of my car at hounding area was Bob. I probably average 7 hours hunting. I do smell the roses and watch nature. Poke around in town a bit. Hunting rocks here grabs all your attention though. I'd go hog wild in a place like that too. Totally different experience than back here. Amen my east of the Mississippi brother.

Yep the jelly is good. Last time I made it I had the bright idea to burn the hairs off the fruit instead of scrubbing. Ended up with jelly that had a strong smoke flavor. The gal making the popsicles said she wrestles removing the seeds. Use acetylene lol ? Nope, wood 🔥

Remember Mullets? Oh yeah, I used to rock a fine mullet back in the day. Looked like a Canadian hockey player, ayyy. My dad used to use Brylcream, still remember the day that mom brushed her teeth with it.

A#1 batch as usual Chuck. Hard to pick a favorite but really like the unakite at 2:00 in the batch pic. I've tumbled a few pieces of this but my came out chipped & bruised. Thanks for sharing.

Alright, that's it. I'm taking a trip somewhere next year and collecting rocks. This USPS hounding is getting old. Taking applications for guides. I make a mean teriyaki ground beef jerky. I know it's rude to invite oneself but I'm in!!! Make some great deer jerky. We'll see if we can train the cows to lick the rocks for us.

I am sure of one thing 1dave , the yellow mosses have a strong flavor if they are poorly silicified. Stopped licking them !! Certain that there is some serious chemistry going on in these rocks. If I remember correctly that area is known for yellow arsenic agates, or was it cyanide cherts...
