. My Gut opinion was the same. I ran it last night. with cartridges cases and walnut media. and Worked great. I changed drums Putting my 20'lb Craftool drum and that works well. The porcelain drum does not have a water tight seal., Not that one could not be fitted.. . When I purchased there was appoc 25lb of smooth stones inside. So someone was using it as such Sal Cool, that machine is well built, great score.

Thanks, my POS HF tumbler quit working today so who knows when I'll get them tumbled I feel for you, I'm in the same boat. I have a batch of nearly complete rocks and the motor on my HF tumbler is having problems so I can't finish my tumble. It's driving me crazy to be so close to completion dead in the water. I've just about got all the parts together so I'm going to build one.

It's an industrial jar/ball mill. Uses steel, ceramic, Al or Zr oxide balls/spheres to crush material. No idea if it would work for rock tumbling, I'm sure other RTH members will know.

My thought is to switch out the silicone pans with the grit changes so they are only used for for that grit. Now to come up with a lid....

Brecciated is way cool, I'm with you on the phone pics. Maybe Garage Rocker will come up to Ohio after he comes down to Tennessee to take pics of my rocks. It would be the neighborly thing to do.... Used to shoot location portraits back in the day, I can go mobile! Especially if you are near Crossville and I can get a few rounds in at Fairfield Glade. Dang, I'm about 2 hrs northeast of Crossville at the VA border.
