Kittys do that 'cause you are supposed to be petting them instead using your hands for useless stuff. Silly Humans. ;D
I like the varigated Tigers Eye. Very nice.

Facing the unit take off the left cover. There will be 5 screws. The 2 on the lower left should be painted red. (At least mine are) Remove those, add a couple of drops and you're set. The sticker on mine says use 30wt oil but I went with 3 in 1

turquoiselover- Yeah you are close. The home depot in Simi is up on Cochran between Madera and first. I bought it last summer and it was 25.99 or 98/97 something like that. I know it was less than 26 without tax. If it had been close to $50.00 I would not have bought it as I am quite happy with the Husky. Ya think they miss priced it? Must have. They would not make that little profit on purpose. Does hubby work at the main warehouse in Camarillo?

I only use mine on weekends and have oiled the pump leathers only once in a year of use. I ruined the leather on a pump Coleman stove by oiling too much. It became soggy and would not pump pressure into the tank. I think they work pretty much the same way. As John said I do have to blow out the geysers and sometimes use a wire to clean them. Oh yeah, I just used 3 in 1 oil.

That would be the one. They are less here in the states at the stores. Mine was 25.99 and I did not see any difference between it and the Husky ( 15.99) except the Hot dog is a bit thinner.

I just bought a flat lap a few days ago from him. There was a mix up on the card number when I called him (bad connection). He called me the next day about it while on the road to CO to do some shows and it was fixed. I had it 2 days latter and he gave me a few tips about it in a couple more contacts we had. Does service get any better that that?

Vent away it would be driving me nuts as well especially if it is a larger tumbler and barells. I do not really want to know but what the heck. What size?

I also have both and a 16" for larger slabs but forget about the slab saw for now. The WF blade will take abuse the 10" will not and you sould be able to put off the grinder a littlle while. A hint - Make her something she will like to wear and her mind will change about getting more tools. Worked for me.

I would keep the new barell to just polish and final burnish myself.

You will be very happy you went with the Genie. As far as changing the water goes I do not change mine until it looks like mud. Never a problem. I do toss a couple of pinches of borax in each tray to help lubricate. Do not know if it helps but I do it anyway.
Randy - You have really gotten good to turn one out in 15 minutes. I bow my head. I takes me about 45 from cut preform to mirror.

Right now I use Covington Rock Hound oil as well. I did check the Tractor Supply site and the mineral oil was $11.96/gal. "in store only" Am I looking at the right stuff?

That pic jasper you have there is really nice. There are some good cabs to be had there. Oh yeah, the one on the right in the first pick is definitly Unakite.
