If Mark pastes this into the global footer / header it will put a custom google search at the bottom / top of every page.
<div id="cse" style="width: 100%;">Loading</div> <script src="http://www.google.com/jsapi" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> google.load('search', '1', {language : 'en', style : google.loader.themes.V2_DEFAULT}); google.setOnLoadCallback(function() { var customSearchOptions = {}; var customSearchControl = new google.search.CustomSearchControl( '000610255606429709030:hn0k_8zl3ve', customSearchOptions); customSearchControl.setResultSetSize(google.search.Search.FILTERED_CSE_RESULTSET); customSearchControl.draw('cse'); }, true); </script>
Its what we have on our club web site, but the above is set up for RTH.

Helen if you put epoxy where your fingernails used to be it will make your fingers feel much better (yes I have done this) , next time wrap some of this on.

Bet you have never seen this before. these are stone cabs with homemade Detroit agate around the outside. Its defiantly different, I'm just not sure if it is too different. Jasper moonstone Agate (my favorite)

They must have changed the 1" only arbor size. The site shows they are available in 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1" now.
Bushings are fairly easy to accurately make yourself if you have a drill press. Just take a washer that fits snugly on a bolt and tighten it between the bolt head and a nut. Then put the bolt in your drill press and use a file on the washer while it is spinning. Once its down to the OD you need use a step drill to make the ID what you want. Calipers will make getting the right sizes a lot easier too.
I sent them a email asking if they would sell smaller amounts and they told me 100 minimum on any of them now. No way I need that many. Guess I should have been there earlier, I would have considered 10 of the 8" for hand cutting.

I use one of these (inland wiz grinder) with one of these (jewelry bit) Works great, but it would probably be fairly easy to build the grinder then just buy the bit, but the grinders are fairly inexpensive.

I have the advantage of being able to do it at work during coffee break and at lunch. We have a drying oven that I can stick them into that is going anyhow so I don't even have to run my own oven. The guys at work are used to seeing me wrap cabs at lunch, but this has them wondering what I'm up too

Testors enamel model paint. I put it on 1/8" stainless shaped like a cab and on a ugly cab to save layers. 1 layer per color as many layers as you can stand to do (about 30 minimum needed). Put on every few layers in a random pattern. Bake at 330 deg F for about 20 min per layer.
I might actually try this once more I have an idea for using a nice cab and taking the paint right off of the center so you get stone in the center framed with paint.

quailriver what the heck did you do with 300 blades!?!? Or did you get them to sell smaller quantities?
I would not bother with the spacers for the blades though just order the smallest hole they sell and make it the size you want with a step drill. Works great.

PVC works great for barrels but it is kind of loud. Kind of like a grader going down a gravel road. If you line it with rubber it is way quieter.

Totally bubble free and since I put the first few on cab shapes and the latest on a rough ground cab there is almost no waste which is good because its not quick to do.

I got a few coats on a rough ground cab today. That temperature didn't seem to effect it at all.
I have been putting one coat per color, with blotches or stripes of color between coats. So solid layer, pattern, solid layer, patern, etc

I just had a thought, if I start with a plain cab that is already shaped I shouldn't have to use anywhere near as much paint. I'm trying it tommorow.
