Did you ever find a way to repair it? I have a MT-10 Mini Sonic and the knob on the right went out.
All the best, Michael

Looks modern to me (the flaking and the total lack of use wear give it away). It would sell for about $20 - $30 on my website FlintKnappers.com.
All the best, Michael

Hello, My wife works with copper and she has been punching holes using Parallel-Action Hole-Punching Pliers (like these: www.etsy.com/listing/192951851/bij-696-kent-15mm-hole-punch-parallel). She struggles with punching holes for rivets in thick copper bracelet blanks; her hands are not strong enough to do it (mine are). What other ways are there for her to punch holes in metal? All the best, Michael Miller

Thank you for the awesome write-up and pictures. You inspired me to rebuild mine too. I had the same wear on the shafts. It rolls so much better now with all new parts!

I've been flintkanpping for 24 years and I run FlintKnappers.com. If you need some help, tools, or rock just ask. I teach flintknapping classes in Nashville TN too. I know lots of knappers across the USA. Might be a couple near you. It's always nice to have an experienced knapper to show you a few things in person. Otherwise, the best videos out there are on YouTube by Jim Winn, here's the link: www.youtube.com/user/paleomanjimGood chipping, Michael Miller

Greetings from Nashville TN. I used to live in Frederick MD and I attended meetings at GLMSMC (Gem, Lapidary, and Mineral Society of Montgomery County MD). It's a great group with monthly talks, they do a show, and field trips too. www.glmsmc.com/Michael

Thank you for the good words. They are "sharp" but can be easily made dull for a pendant.

Gotta love that Alabama quartz! I collected some gravel and polished it up years ago. Awesome polish. Now I need to find some quality craft beers and do it again :-)

Thanks y'all for the comments. Based on the hardness, I think it is Variscite. Thank you for the good words about the bracelet, my wife makes them.
All the best, Michael

James does great work, he has a gallery on my website Flintknappers.com. Here's a link for those who might want to see more of his work: flintknappers.com/gallery/past2present All the best, Michael

I was thinking about selling mine. It's been a few months since I upgraded and now it's in dust mode. I can pm you pictures if you like.

I don't post all that often but I have learned a great deal from RTHers!
