Great story. Last year was the "Deer in the Hole," and this year was "Psycho Lady." Funny thing is Kim, you got to witness them both. What fun after the fact. Can't wait to see what happens next year.

Another new found friend from the Pacific Northwest. Oh how I love that area. I was in Newport, Oregon a few years back. Did a whale watching tour and got extremely seasick. That is a horrible feeling. We stayed at Beverly Beach campground. Welcome to this place Chadman.

Yeah, I agree with you. If you say it's garbage, then garbage it is. Not too worry, I have the perfect "garbage" can in my garage where you can dispose of it. Just send it to me and I'll take care of the rest. (heh, heh, heh). Seriously, they came out great.

Hey Susan, what's the story about the crazy doper lady at the WWR Blitz? D and D mentioned something to me about how you were going to post about that incident. They said it was quite interesting.

I've had several Black River agates and others in the vibe for about fifteen days now after having gone through three weeks in 60/90, then four days 120/220 in the vibe, four days 400F vibe and then the CPP. Don't know what's going on. I checked them every day after the first couple of days too. I'm be changing the rocks in the 12lb Thumler's rotary to 120/220 today and go through all the stages there. I'm going to put those BR agates in that one. Hopefully they will come out. Don't know what happened.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen any kind of tumbling stuff from you Mark. Glad you're back to it again. Bummer when a tumbler breaks and creates a mess.

I do the same thing at the school where I work. If I'm taking a walk at the park, I'll also leave rocks around there too.

I sometimes go through stages where I won't tumble or do any kind of lapidary for a while. Then I see stuff on these boards that get me going again. Awesome cabs, tumbled stones, jewelry, etc. I know that if it wasn't for RTH I wouldn't be doing as much. How about you?

I love that kind of stuff. Thanks for posting those pictures. If you don't mind, here's a pic of last year at Oliver Lee State Park near Alamagordo, New Mexico. Condor

Here are some pictures I took at the Deming, New Mexico rock show. Thunder eggs from Deming. Various spheres. I was told these are done by hand even though they are called tumbled rocks. In Tucson they had them too, and the gentleman there told me the same thing. They're done by people overseas who get paid something like two dollars per day to do this. Each one is about fist sized big. Various slabs. Rutilated quartz. Lace agate. Rainbow obsidian. Notice how the outline was followed to form the butterfly. Brazilian sphere. Brazilian agate slab. Smoky quartz. Rio Negro (Black River) agates and Condor agates from Argentina. Right now in my vibe I have some RNs that should be ready by next week. Condor

Those woods look like real wood, not rock. You can see the lines on them so clearly. That's the way I like pet-wood. Keeping the true shape to it. Excellent job.
