Thank you roy and all who played! The box is headed my way - or should I say I might be headed it's way? lol. Turns out hplcman and I only live about 25 miles apart so were gonna try to save some postage by meeting half way or something like that. When I get it I'll take a final group of photos as soon as I can and get the auction going.

I would love to join in on the next round. For those that don't know, I joined this board in 2006 and started the very first traveling rock box!

A sincere thank you to roy for generously getting the box stuffed and rolling and more importantly for continually stepping up to support the greatest rock hobby community forum that has ever existed. For all who played I hope you had fun and found a good treasure or three to make something cool out of. It was my pleasure to meet hplcman this morning - he hand delivered the box to me and it was fun to chat rocks and lapidary for a little bit and show him my badly neglected equipment and rocks. I tried my best to keep an eye on him but I do still think his pockets were bulging a bit when he left I'll take a look at the box tomorrow and possibly re-package it if I think it needs it and get an auction going as soon as possible.

Thank you Tommy for making the final arrangements for this! It was awesome meeting you yesterday. And thanks for the tour of your shop and showing me some of your amazing rocks! As for the bulging pockets, I can't control gravity nor keep falling rocks from landing in them! In all seriousness you were very generous, and I look forward to seeing you again (hopefully) soon! Thanks for all of your hard work keeping this forum as wonderful as it is. J
