My god. That is truly amazing. How you turn a bunch of metal and rocks into such an amazing masterpiece is beyond me. You could stick me in your shop with all the same materials and I would come out with a lumpy butter knife and some cabs. Amazing.

All right Adrian, that is just one beautiful piece 0f cutlery art! Been watching this thread develop and the final result is fantastic. A question. The knife shape reminds me of an ancient Greek blade like the Kopis or even a Kukris type. How did you pick the blade style? Is that style local to your region of Europe or did you just see the pattern somewhere or choose the shape just because it suited your fancy?.....Mel

Thank you very much, friends. If the knife looks good and you like it, this is also due to you who inspire me here every day with the beautiful things each of you are making. Mel, when I drew the knife's shape I kinda had in mind kukri, but now I notice it also resembles to the Greek Kopis. Surfing on some knife-makers' web pages also offerd me some inspiration. Jay Fisher has a large variety of knife shapes and even if I didn't copy one of them, they were helpful to me in choosing the knife's shape. Jo, the cat you see in the pics is Sissi. Ed, I also enjoy the "Olympus Legends". Thank you for the nickname Adrian PS. It's finished, but not 100 per cent. Still working/thinking about a support to hold it

Hi Adrian !
I thought the knife shape question was a good discussion so I want to ask: is the stone insert in the metal blade your idea? Are there many knifes with that design? Thanks Ed

Ed, the meteorite slab, you mean? Yes it was my idea and I haven't seen it anywhere. Which doesn't mean it wasn't done before, most probably. I also imagined the groove wrap system by myself and then found out that it was used before. So I kinda tend to invent the wheel, LOL.

Definitely a masterful trick, Adrian Of which you have many rocks tricks up your sleeve it will become a new blade art form ! That knife comes from the lightening sky's! I've attended a few knife shows and can't say I ever noticed it before award winning !!! I want to sign that magazine p.s. I know you can invent vacuum dop system ;D
