Wow!!! Roy, what an AMAZING picture, I absolutely LOVE it!!! Gary, Ummmmmm, whoa! Your cab sparked a debate in my household  I think it looks like a meteor shower falling to earth. Brooke thinks it looks like an underwater scene with stuff floating above the surface of the ocean, Patrick thinks it looks like and "Elfin-Fairy" Mountain magical type something that you would see in a movie (like one of those Tolken movies), Candiss thinks it looks like a grassy mountain on a very nice day (she obviously has better vision than me because I couldn't see this.... but I believe her!) Beautiful entries!!!! As always..... in awe! |

Wow Kurt, as soon as you get that thing shined up it is going to be awesome. lol Good thing that I have my monitor turned down. The shine might have split my eyeballs!!!!!!! And the separation of colors is gorgeous.

I deceided to widdraw this time round as this argument is between two people who I call friends and I will not take up either side regardless.
One thing though, The ripoff Doughy was in for the money and would not be here to communicate in any other subject than peddling peoples wares.

Ok back to the contest, heres my entry. Oregon Sunset Agate. First pic, the chunk in the saw ready to cut the slab.  The slab The purple in the agate shows the best in this pic, since I took it outside on a sunny day.  The Preform, this ended up being the bottom of the cab, I decided I liked the other side better. The purple shows correctly in this pic too.  The cab. Indoors under halogen lights  Outdoors under a light overcast sky, thows the shine a bit better but makes the purple look blue.
