OK, glad thats over. Jean: its no secret; Montana and Fire Agate are my favorites. Your cab worked out wonderfully. Don: You had to show off in the last minute, did you? ? What a stunning creation! I think that is by far my favorite from all those wonders you have shown thus far. So I better hurry and get my entry back in if its not too late (better being second, than not being here at all) LOL. Here we go again; Montana the slab the shine and the cab If its to late, no worries; will be back in the next contest.

kk, that is one of the coolest pieces of montana I have ever seen. The shape fits the stone perfectly.

LOL, Kurt you know I couldn't help myself with all this blue agate talk being tossed around lately. This was out of my best material, I"ll get one or two more pieces out of it and then I'm into my "still nice but not as gemmy" stuff. I'll use the next slice off of this rock for a carving project.

Boy I don't know how I missed it. Don, that is some fantastic Blue Chalcedony you have got there. I love what you have done wth it. My wife has a couple of really nice specimens of some Dendretic Blue Chalcedony which is windowed. They are big rocks one looks like a soccer ball with the different windows that have been sliced to expose the beauty. She said I could cut off a section of one of them for my cabbing. All I have to do now is convince her to agree to my purchasing a slab saw. LOL It would probably require a 14" saw. Stu
