LOL, Kurt you know I couldn't help myself with all this blue agate talk being tossed around lately. This was out of my best material, I"ll get one or two more pieces out of it and then I'm into my "still nice but not as gemmy" stuff. I'll use the next slice off of this rock for a carving project.

Don, that is some fantastic Blue Chalcedony you have got there. I love what you have done wth it. My wife has a couple of really nice specimens of some Dendretic Blue Chalcedony which is windowed. They are big rocks one looks like a soccer ball with the different windows that have been sliced to expose the beauty. She said I could cut off a section of one of them for my cabbing.
All I have to do now is convince her to agree to my purchasing a slab saw. LOL It would probably require a 14" saw.
