I want to play too! I've had this slab of Royal Sahara Jasper sitting in my shop for a while and I've never taken the time to cab it, sooooo...... The Slab and Preform The Cab-64x44x6.3mm It's kinda large, but I didn't want to cut off more than the rind on this one.

My gosh Ed!!! You just made my heart jump out of my chest and hit the floor! Might I ask a favor? WARNING next time? ? I really really really want to still be around to see your cabs! AWESOME and PERFECT!!! And yeah...... I agree with Adrian and Carleton. There's nothing quite like Royal Sahara, especially when worked in a masters hands!

I must say that this contest has taken on a really good momentum and feeling. The bar raises with each cab that has entered and that seems to not be stopping new entries from coming. That is so GREAT. I always hated it when people would post that after seeing what was already entered they were going to wait for the next contest. This month all the bases are being touched from the unusual and unconventional to that outright unbelievable Royal Sahara. But please lets not scare away any new and potential winner cabs as there is still a week left in the contest. Lets not forget the old saying. "The games not over until the fat lady sings" Stu

Wow! what a beautiful stone Ed , it reminds me of a Lawren Harris painting , I could look at it for hours and still see something different every time I look at it. Great work! With all of this great looking material entered this month, we will be sure to hand pick some especially nice Labradorite for the winner Chloey
